2:158:1ʾinnᵃIndeed,
2:158:2ₐlṣṣafāthe Safa
2:158:3waₐlmarwaẗᵃand the Marwah
2:158:4min(are) from
2:158:5šaʕāʾirⁱ(the) symbols
2:158:6ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah.
2:158:7famanSo whoever
2:158:8ḥajjᵃperforms Hajj
2:158:9ₐlbaytᵃ(of) the House
2:158:11ᵢʕtamarᵃperforms Umrah,
2:158:13junāḥᵃblame
2:158:14ʕalayhⁱon him
2:158:16yaṭṭawwafᵃhe walks
2:158:17bihimābetween [both of] them.
2:158:18wamanAnd whoever
2:158:19taṭawwaʕᵃvoluntarily does
2:158:20ḫayraⁿgood,
2:158:21faʾinnᵃthen indeed,
2:158:22ₐllahᵃAllah
2:158:23šākirᵘⁿ(is) All-Appreciative,
2:158:24ʕalīmᵘⁿAll-Knowing.
۝١٥٨
Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs 'umrah - there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers good - then indeed, Allah is appreciative and Knowing.
2:159:1ʾinnᵃIndeed,
2:159:2ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
2:159:5ʾanzalnāWe revealed
2:159:7ₐlbayyinātⁱthe clear proofs,
2:159:8waₐlhudāand the Guidance,
2:159:9minᵐfrom
2:159:12bayyannāhᵘWe made clear
2:159:13lilnnāsⁱto the people
2:159:15ₐlkitābⁱthe Book -
2:159:17yalʕanuhumᵘcurses them
2:159:18ₐllahᵘAllah
2:159:19wayalʕanuhumᵘand curse them
2:159:20ₐllāʕinūnᵃthe ones who curse.
۝١٥٩
Indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of clear proofs and guidance after We made it clear for the people in the Scripture - those are cursed by Allah and cursed by those who curse,
2:160:1ʾillāExcept
2:160:2ₐllaðīnᵃthose
2:160:3tābūwho repent[ed]
2:160:4waʾaṣlaḥūand reform[ed]
2:160:5wabayyanūand openly declar[ed].
2:160:6faʾulāʾikᵃThen those,
2:160:7ʾatūbᵘI will accept repentance
2:160:8ʕalayhimfrom them,
2:160:9waʾanāand I (am)
2:160:10ₐlttawwābᵘthe Acceptor of Repentance,
2:160:11ₐlrraḥīmᵘthe Most Merciful.
۝١٦٠
Except for those who repent and correct themselves and make evident [what they concealed]. Those - I will accept their repentance, and I am the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
2:161:1ʾinnᵃIndeed,
2:161:2ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
2:161:3kafarūdisbelieve[d]
2:161:4wamātūand die[d]
2:161:5wahumwhile they
2:161:6kuffārᵘⁿ(were) disbelievers,
2:161:9laʕnaẗᵘ(is the) curse
2:161:10ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah,

2:161:12waₐlnnāsⁱand the mankind,
2:161:13ʾajmaʕīnᵃall together.
۝١٦١
Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers - upon them will be the curse of Allah and of the angels and the people, all together,
2:162:1ḫālidīnᵃ(Will) abide forever
2:162:4yuḫaffafᵘwill be lightened
2:162:5ʕanhumᵘfor them
2:162:6ₐlʕaðābᵘthe punishment
2:162:7walāand not
2:162:9yunẓarūnᵃwill be reprieved.
۝١٦٢
Abiding eternally therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved.
2:163:1waʾilāhukumAnd your God
2:163:2ʾilāhᵘⁿ(is) God
2:163:3wāḥidᵘⁿone (only);
2:163:4llā(there is) no
2:163:6ʾillāexcept
2:163:7huwᵃHim,
2:163:8ₐlrraḥmānᵘthe Most Gracious,
2:163:9ₐlrraḥīmᵘthe Most Merciful.
۝١٦٣
And your god is one God. There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
2:164:1ʾinnᵃIndeed,
2:164:3ḫalqⁱ(the) creation

2:164:39ₐlssamāʾⁱthe sky
2:164:40waₐlʾarḍⁱand the earth,
2:164:41laʾāyātⁱⁿsurely (are) Signs
2:164:42lliqawmⁱⁿfor a people
2:164:43yaʕqilūnᵃwho use their intellect.
۝١٦٤
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allah has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason.
2:165:1waminᵃAnd among

2:165:15ḥubbaⁿ(in) love
2:165:16llillahⁱfor Allah.
2:165:18yarāwould see
2:165:19ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
2:165:22yarawnᵃthey will see
2:165:23ₐlʕaðābᵃthe punishment
2:165:24ʾannᵃthat
2:165:25ₐlquwwaẗᵃthe power

2:165:30šadīdᵘ(is) severe
2:165:31ₐlʕaðābⁱ(in) [the] punishment.
۝١٦٥
And [yet], among the people are those who take other than Allah as equals [to Him]. They love them as they [should] love Allah. But those who believe are stronger in love for Allah. And if only they who have wronged would consider [that] when they see the punishment, [they will be certain] that all power belongs to Allah and that Allah is severe in punishment.
2:166:2tabarraʾᵃwill disown
2:166:3ₐllaðīnᵃthose who

2:166:5minᵃ[from]
2:166:6ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
2:166:7ᵢttabaʕūfollowed
2:166:8waraʾawuand they will see

۝١٦٦
[And they should consider that] when those who have been followed disassociate themselves from those who followed [them], and they [all] see the punishment, and cut off from them are the ties [of relationship],
2:167:1waqālᵃAnd said
2:167:2ₐllaðīnᵃthose who

۝١٦٧
Those who followed will say, "If only we had another turn [at worldly life] so we could disassociate ourselves from them as they have disassociated themselves from us." Thus will Allah show them their deeds as regrets upon them. And they are never to emerge from the Fire.

۝١٦٨
O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.
2:169:2yaʾmurukumhe commands you

He only orders you to evil and immorality and to say about Allah what you do not know.

2:170:15ʾawalawEven though

۝١٧٠
And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that which we found our fathers doing." Even though their fathers understood nothing, nor were they guided?
2:171:1wamaθalᵘAnd (the) example
2:171:2ₐllaðīnᵃ(of) those who
2:171:3kafarūdisbelieve[d]
2:171:4kamaθalⁱ(is) like (the) example
2:171:5ₐllaðī(of) the one who

The example of those who disbelieve is like that of one who shouts at what hears nothing but calls and cries cattle or sheep - deaf, dumb and blind, so they do not understand.

۝١٧٢
O you who have believed, eat from the good things which We have provided for you and be grateful to Allah if it is [indeed] Him that you worship.
2:173:2ḥarramᵃHe has forbidden

2:173:11liġayrⁱto other than
2:173:12ₐllahⁱAllah.
2:173:13famanⁱSo whoever
2:173:14ᵢḍṭurrᵃ(is) forced by necessity
2:173:15ġayrᵃwithout
2:173:16bāġⁱⁿ(being) disobedient
2:173:17walāand not

2:173:22ʾinnᵃIndeed,
2:173:23ₐllahᵃAllah
2:173:24ġafūrᵘⁿ(is) Oft-Forgiving,
2:173:25rraḥīmᵘⁿMost Merciful.
۝١٧٣
He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah. But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
2:174:1ʾinnᵃIndeed,
2:174:2ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
2:174:5ʾanzalᵃ(has) revealed
2:174:6ₐllahᵘAllah (has)

2:174:20walāAnd not
2:174:21yukallimuhumᵘwill speak to them
2:174:22ₐllahᵘAllah

2:174:27walahumand for them
2:174:28ʕaðābᵘⁿ(is) a punishment

۝١٧٤
Indeed, they who conceal what Allah has sent down of the Book and exchange it for a small price - those consume not into their bellies except the Fire. And Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. And they will have a painful punishment.
2:175:2ₐllaðīnᵃ(are) they who

2:175:8famāSo what (is)
2:175:9ʾaṣbarahumtheir endurance
2:175:11ₐlnnārⁱthe Fire!
۝١٧٥
Those are the ones who have exchanged guidance for error and forgiveness for punishment. How patient they are in pursuit of the Fire!
2:176:1ðālikᵃThat
2:176:2biʾannᵃ(is) because
2:176:3ₐllahᵃAllah

2:176:7waʾinnᵃAnd indeed,

۝١٧٦
That is [deserved by them] because Allah has sent down the Book in truth. And indeed, those who differ over the Book are in extreme dissension.
