3:15:2ʾaʾunabbiʾukum"Shall I inform you
3:15:3biḫayrⁱⁿof better
3:15:6lillaðīnᵃFor those who
3:15:7ᵢttaqawfear[ed],
3:15:8ʕindᵃwith
3:15:9rabbihimtheir Lord,
3:15:10jannātᵘⁿ(are) Gardens
3:15:13taḥtihāunderneath them
3:15:14ₐlʾanhārᵘ[the] rivers -
3:15:15ḫālidīnᵃabiding forever
3:15:17waʾazwājᵘⁿand spouses
3:15:18mmuṭahharaẗᵘⁿpure
3:15:19wariḍwānᵘⁿand approval
3:15:21ₐllahⁱAllah.
3:15:22waₐllahᵘAnd Allah
3:15:23baṣīrᵘⁿᵐ(is) All-Seer
3:15:24biₐlʕibādⁱof (His) slaves."
۝١٥
Say, "Shall I inform you of [something] better than that? For those who fear Allah will be gardens in the presence of their Lord beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and purified spouses and approval from Allah. And Allah is Seeing of [His] servants -
3:16:1ₐllaðīnᵃThose who
3:16:3rabbanā"Our Lord!
3:16:4ʾinnanāIndeed, we
3:16:5ʾāmannā(have) believed,
3:16:6faᵢġfirso forgive
3:16:7lanāfor us
3:16:8ðunūbanāour sins
3:16:9waqināand save us
3:16:10ʕaðābᵃ(from) punishment
3:16:11ₐlnnārⁱ(of) the Fire."
۝١٦
Those who say, "Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire,"
3:17:1ₐlṣṣābirīnᵃThe patient
3:17:2waₐlṣṣādiqīnᵃand the truthful
3:17:3waₐlqānitīnᵃand the obedient
3:17:4waₐlmunfiqīnᵃand those who spend
3:17:5waₐlmustaġfirīnᵃand those who seek forgiveness
3:17:6biₐlʾasḥārⁱ[in the] before dawn.
۝١٧
The patient, the true, the obedient, those who spend [in the way of Allah], and those who seek forgiveness before dawn.
3:18:1šahidᵃBears witness
3:18:2ₐllahᵘAllah
3:18:3ʾannahuthat [He],
3:18:4(there is) no
3:18:6ʾillāexcept
3:18:7huwᵃHim,
3:18:8waₐlmalāʾikaẗᵘand (so do) the Angels,
3:18:10ₐlʕilmⁱ(of) [the] knowledge -
3:18:11qāʾimᵃⁿᵐāstanding
3:18:12biₐlqisṭⁱin justice.
3:18:13(There is) no
3:18:15ʾillāexcept
3:18:17ₐlʕazīzᵘthe All-Mighty,
3:18:18ₐlḥakīmᵘthe All-Wise.
۝١٨
Allah witnesses that there is no deity except Him, and [so do] the angels and those of knowledge - [that He is] maintaining [creation] in justice. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
3:19:1ʾinnᵃIndeed,
3:19:2ₐlddīnᵃthe religion
3:19:3ʕindᵃnear
3:19:4ₐllahⁱAllah
3:19:5ₐlʾislāmᵘ(is) Islam.
3:19:6wamāAnd not
3:19:7ᵢḫtalafᵃdiffered
3:19:8ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
3:19:9ʾūtūwere given
3:19:10ₐlkitābᵃthe Book
3:19:11ʾillāexcept
3:19:12minᵐfrom
3:19:13baʕdⁱafter
3:19:14[what]
3:19:15jāʾahumᵘcame to them
3:19:16ₐlʕilmᵘ[the] knowledge
3:19:17baġyᵃⁿᵐāout of envy
3:19:18baynahumamong them.
3:19:19wamanAnd whoever
3:19:20yakfurdisbelieves
3:19:21biʾāyātⁱin (the) Verses
3:19:22ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah,
3:19:23faʾinnᵃthen indeed,
3:19:24ₐllahᵃAllah
3:19:25sarīʕᵘ(is) swift
3:19:26ₐlḥisābⁱ(in taking) account.
۝١٩
Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of Allah, then indeed, Allah is swift in [taking] account.
3:20:1faʾinThen if
3:20:2ḥājjūkᵃthey argue with you,
3:20:3faqulthen say,
3:20:4ʾaslamtᵘ"I have submitted
3:20:5wajhīᵃmyself
3:20:6lillahⁱto Allah
3:20:7wamanⁱand (those) who
3:20:8ᵢttabaʕanⁱfollow me."
3:20:9waqulAnd say
3:20:10llillaðīnᵃto those who
3:20:11ʾūtūwere given
3:20:12ₐlkitābᵃthe Book,
3:20:13waₐlʾummiyyinᵃand the unlettered people,
3:20:14ʾaʾaslamtum"Have you submitted yourselves?"
3:20:15faʾinThen if
3:20:16ʾaslamūthey submit
3:20:17faqadⁱthen surely
3:20:18ᵢhtadawthey are guided.
3:20:19wwaʾinBut if
3:20:20tawallawthey turn back
3:20:21faʾinnamāthen only
3:20:22ʕalaykᵃon you
3:20:23ₐlbalāġᵘ(is) to [the] convey.
3:20:24waₐllahᵘAnd Allah
3:20:25baṣīrᵘⁿᵐ(is) All-Seer
3:20:26biₐlʕibādⁱof [His] slaves.
۝٢٠
So if they argue with you, say, "I have submitted myself to Allah [in Islam], and [so have] those who follow me." And say to those who were given the Scripture and [to] the unlearned, "Have you submitted yourselves?" And if they submit [in Islam], they are rightly guided; but if they turn away - then upon you is only the [duty of] notification. And Allah is Seeing of [His] servants.
3:21:1ʾinnᵃIndeed,
3:21:2ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
3:21:3yakfurūnᵃdisbelieve
3:21:4biʾāyātⁱin (the) Signs (of)
3:21:5ₐllahⁱAllah
3:21:6wayaqtulūnᵃand they kill
3:21:7ₐlnnabiyyinᵃthe Prophets
3:21:8biġayrⁱwithout
3:21:9ḥaqqⁱⁿright
3:21:10wayaqtulūnᵃand they kill
3:21:11ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
3:21:13biₐlqisṭⁱ[with] justice
3:21:14minᵃamong
3:21:15ₐlnnāsⁱthe people,
3:21:16fabašširhumthen give them tidings
3:21:17biʕaðābⁱⁿof a punishment
3:21:18ʾalīmⁱⁿpainful.
۝٢١
Those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah and kill the prophets without right and kill those who order justice from among the people - give them tidings of a painful punishment.
3:22:2ₐllaðīnᵃ(are) the ones who -
3:22:3ḥabiṭatbecame worthless
3:22:4ʾaʕmāluhumtheir deeds
3:22:6ₐlddunyāthe world
3:22:7waₐlʾāḫiraẗⁱand (in) the Hereafter.
3:22:8wamāAnd not
3:22:9lahum(will be) for them
3:22:11nnāṣirīnᵃhelpers.
۝٢٢
They are the ones whose deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and for them there will be no helpers.
3:23:1ʾalamHave not
3:23:2tarᵃyou seen
3:23:4ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
3:23:5ʾūtūwere given
3:23:6naṣībaⁿa portion
3:23:8ₐlkitābⁱthe Scripture?
3:23:9yudʕawnᵃThey are invited
3:23:11kitābⁱ(the) Book
3:23:12ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah
3:23:13liyaḥkumᵃthat (it should) arbitrate
3:23:14baynahumbetween them,
3:23:15θummᵃthen
3:23:16yatawallāturns away
3:23:17farīqᵘⁿa party
3:23:19wahumand they (are)
3:23:20mmuʕriḍūnᵃthose who are averse.
۝٢٣
Do you not consider, [O Muhammad], those who were given a portion of the Scripture? They are invited to the Scripture of Allah that it should arbitrate between them; then a party of them turns away, and they are refusing.
3:24:1ðālikᵃThat
3:24:2biʾannahum(is) because they
3:24:4lan"Never
3:24:5tamassanāwill touch us
3:24:6ₐlnnārᵘthe Fire
3:24:8ʾayyāmaⁿ(for) days
3:24:9mmaʕdūdātⁱⁿnumbered."
3:24:10waġarrahumAnd deceived them
3:24:12dīnihimtheir religion
3:24:15yaftarūnᵃinventing.
۝٢٤
That is because they say, "Never will the Fire touch us except for [a few] numbered days," and [because] they were deluded in their religion by what they were inventing.
3:25:1fakayfᵃThen how (will it be)
3:25:2ʾiðāwhen
3:25:3jamaʕnāhumWe will gather them
3:25:4liyawmⁱⁿon a Day -
3:25:6raybᵃdoubt
3:25:7fīhⁱin it.
3:25:8wawuffiyatAnd will be paid in full
3:25:9kullᵘevery
3:25:10nafsⁱⁿsoul
3:25:12kasabatit earned
3:25:13wahumand they
3:25:14(will) not
3:25:15yuẓlamūnᵃbe wronged.
۝٢٥
So how will it be when We assemble them for a Day about which there is no doubt? And each soul will be compensated [in full for] what it earned, and they will not be wronged.
3:26:2ₐllahummᵃ"O Allah!
3:26:3mālikᵃOwner
3:26:4ₐlmulkⁱ(of) the Dominion,
3:26:5tuʾtīYou give
3:26:6ₐlmulkᵃthe dominion
3:26:7man(to) whom
3:26:8tašāʾᵘYou will
3:26:9watanziʕᵘand You take away
3:26:10ₐlmulkᵃthe dominion
3:26:11mimmanfrom whom
3:26:12tašāʾᵘYou will,
3:26:13watuʕizzᵘand You honor
3:26:15tašāʾᵘYou will,
3:26:16watuðillᵘand You humiliate
3:26:18tašāʾᵘYou will.
3:26:19biyadikᵃIn Your hand
3:26:20ₐlḫayrᵘ(is all) the good.
3:26:21ʾinnakᵃIndeed, You
3:26:22ʕalā(are) on
3:26:23kullⁱevery
3:26:24šayʾⁱⁿthing
3:26:25qadīrᵘⁿAll-Powerful.
۝٢٦
Say, "O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will and You take sovereignty away from whom You will. You honor whom You will and You humble whom You will. In Your hand is [all] good. Indeed, You are over all things competent.
3:27:1tūlijᵘYou cause to enter
3:27:2ₐllaylᵃthe night
3:27:4ₐlnnahārⁱthe day
3:27:5watūlijᵘand You cause to enter
3:27:6ₐlnnahārᵃthe day
3:27:8ₐllaylⁱthe night,
3:27:9watuḫrijᵘand You bring forth
3:27:10ₐlḥayyᵃthe living
3:27:11minᵃfrom
3:27:12ₐlmayyitⁱthe dead,
3:27:13watuḫrijᵘand You bring forth
3:27:14ₐlmayyitᵃthe dead
3:27:15minᵃfrom
3:27:16ₐlḥayyⁱthe living,
3:27:17watarzuqᵘand You give provision
3:27:18man(to) whom
3:27:19tašāʾᵘYou will
3:27:20biġayrⁱwithout
3:27:21ḥisābⁱⁿmeasure."
۝٢٧
You cause the night to enter the day, and You cause the day to enter the night; and You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give provision to whom You will without account."
3:28:1llā(Let) not
3:28:2yattaḫiðⁱtake
3:28:3ₐlmuʾminūnᵃthe believers,
3:28:4ₐlkāfirīnᵃthe disbelievers
3:28:5ʾawliyāʾᵃ(as) allies
3:28:7dūnⁱinstead of
3:28:8ₐlmuʾminīnᵃthe believers.
3:28:9wamanAnd whoever
3:28:11ðālikᵃthat,
3:28:12falaysᵃthen not he (has)
3:28:13minᵃfrom
3:28:14ₐllahⁱAllah
3:28:16šayʾⁱⁿanything
3:28:20minhumfrom them,
3:28:21tuqāẗᵃⁿ(as) a precaution.
3:28:22wayuḥaððirukumᵘAnd warns you
3:28:23ₐllahᵘAllah
3:28:24nafsahu(of) Himself,
3:28:25waʾilāand to
3:28:26ₐllahⁱAllah
3:28:27ₐlmaṣīrᵘ(is) the final return.
۝٢٨
Let not believers take disbelievers as allies rather than believers. And whoever [of you] does that has nothing with Allah, except when taking precaution against them in prudence. And Allah warns you of Himself, and to Allah is the [final] destination.
3:29:2ʾin"Whether
3:29:3tuḫfūyou conceal
3:29:5(is) in
3:29:6ṣudūrikumyour breasts
3:29:8tubdūhᵘyou disclose it -
3:29:9yaʕlamhᵘknows it
3:29:10ₐllahᵘAllah.
3:29:11wayaʕlamᵘAnd He knows
3:29:13(is) in
3:29:14ₐlssamāwātⁱthe heavens
3:29:15wamāand what
3:29:16(is) in
3:29:17ₐlʾarḍⁱthe earth.
3:29:18waₐllahᵘAnd Allah
3:29:19ʕalā(is) on
3:29:20kullⁱevery
3:29:21šayʾⁱⁿthing
3:29:22qadīrᵘⁿAll-Powerful."
۝٢٩
Say, "Whether you conceal what is in your breasts or reveal it, Allah knows it. And He knows that which is in the heavens and that which is on the earth. And Allah is over all things competent.
3:30:1yawmᵃ(On the) day
3:30:2tajidᵘwill find
3:30:3kullᵘevery
3:30:4nafsⁱⁿsoul
3:30:8ḫayrⁱⁿgood -
3:30:9mmuḥḍaraⁿpresented,
3:30:10wamāand what
3:30:13sūʾⁱⁿevil,
3:30:14tawaddᵘit will wish
3:30:16ʾannᵃthat
3:30:17baynahābetween itself
3:30:18wabaynahuand between it (evil)
3:30:19ʾamadᵃⁿᵐā(was) a distance
3:30:20baʕīdaⁿgreat.
3:30:21wayuḥaððirukumᵘAnd warns you
3:30:22ₐllahᵘAllah
3:30:23nafsahu(against) Himself,
3:30:24waₐllahᵘand Allah
3:30:25raʾūfᵘⁿᵐ(is) Most Kind
3:30:26biₐlʕibādⁱto (His) [the] slaves.
۝٣٠
The Day every soul will find what it has done of good present [before it] and what it has done of evil, it will wish that between itself and that [evil] was a great distance. And Allah warns you of Himself, and Allah is Kind to [His] servants."
3:31:4tuḥibbūnᵃlove
3:31:5ₐllahᵃAllah,
3:31:6faᵢttabiʕūnīthen follow me,
3:31:7yuḥbibkumᵘwill love you
3:31:8ₐllahᵘAllah
3:31:9wayaġfirand He will forgive
3:31:11ðunūbakumyour sins.
3:31:12waₐllahᵘAnd Allah
3:31:13ġafūrᵘⁿ(is) Oft-Forgiving,
3:31:14rraḥīmᵘⁿMost Merciful.
۝٣١
Say, [O Muhammad], "If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."
3:32:3ₐllahᵃAllah
3:32:4waₐlrrasūlᵃand the Messenger."
3:32:5faʾinThen if
3:32:6tawallawthey turn away -
3:32:7faʾinnᵃthen indeed,
3:32:8ₐllahᵃAllah
3:32:9(does) not
3:32:10yuḥibbᵘlove
3:32:11ₐlkāfirīnᵃthe disbelievers.
۝٣٢
Say, "Obey Allah and the Messenger." But if they turn away - then indeed, Allah does not like the disbelievers.
