10:26:1llillaðīnᵃFor those who
10:26:3ₐlḥusnā(is) the best
10:26:4waziyādaẗᵘⁿand more.
10:26:5walāAnd not
10:26:6yarhaqᵘ(will) cover
10:26:7wujūhahumtheir faces
10:26:8qatarᵘⁿdust
10:26:9walāand not
10:26:10ðillaẗᵘⁿhumiliation.
10:26:12ʾaṣḥābᵘ(are the) companions
10:26:13ₐljannaẗⁱ(of) Paradise,
10:26:16ḫālidūnᵃ(will) abide forever.
۝٢٦
For them who have done good is the best [reward] and extra. No darkness will cover their faces, nor humiliation. Those are companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally
10:27:1waₐllaðīnᵃAnd those who
10:27:3ₐlssayyiʾātⁱthe evil deeds,
10:27:4jazāʾᵘ(the) recompense
10:27:5sayyiʾaẗⁱⁿ(of) an evil deed
10:27:6bimiθlihā(is) like it,
10:27:7watarhaquhumand (will) cover them
10:27:8ðillaẗᵘⁿhumiliation.
10:27:9mmāThey will not have
10:27:12ₐllahⁱAllah
10:27:14ʕāṣimⁱⁿdefender.
10:27:16ʾuġšiyathad been covered
10:27:17wujūhuhumtheir faces
10:27:18qiṭaʕaⁿ(with) pieces
10:27:20ₐllaylⁱthe darkness (of) night.
10:27:23ʾaṣḥābᵘ(are the) companions
10:27:24ₐlnnārⁱ(of) the Fire,
10:27:27ḫālidūnᵃ(will) abide forever.
۝٢٧
But they who have earned [blame for] evil doings - the recompense of an evil deed is its equivalent, and humiliation will cover them. They will have from Allah no protector. It will be as if their faces are covered with pieces of the night - so dark [are they]. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.
10:28:1wayawmᵃAnd (the) Day
10:28:2naḥšuruhumWe will gather them
10:28:3jamīʕaⁿall together,
10:28:4θummᵃthen
10:28:5naqūlᵘWe will say
10:28:6lillaðīnᵃto those who
10:28:7ʾašrakūassociate partners (with Allah),
10:28:8makānakum"(Remain in) your place
10:28:10wašurakāʾukumand your partners."
10:28:11fazayyalnāThen We will separate
10:28:12baynahum[between] them,
10:28:13waqālᵃand (will) say
10:28:14šurakāʾuhumtheir partners,
10:28:16kuntumyou used (to)
10:28:17ʾiyyānāworship us."
۝٢٨
And [mention, O Muhammad], the Day We will gather them all together - then We will say to those who associated others with Allah, "[Remain in] your place, you and your 'partners.' " Then We will separate them, and their "partners" will say, "You did not used to worship us,
10:29:1fakafāSo sufficient
10:29:2biₐllahⁱ(is) Allah
10:29:3šahīdᵃⁿᵐā(as) a witness
10:29:4baynanābetween us
10:29:5wabaynakumand between you
10:29:7kunnāwe were
10:29:9ʕibādatikumyour worship
10:29:10laġāfilīnᵃcertainly unaware.
۝٢٩
And sufficient is Allah as a witness between us and you that we were of your worship unaware."
10:30:2tablūwill be put to trial
10:30:3kullᵘevery
10:30:4nafsⁱⁿsoul
10:30:5mmā(for) what
10:30:6ʾaslafatit did previously,
10:30:7waruddūand they will be returned
10:30:9ₐllahⁱAllah
10:30:10mawlāhumᵘtheir Lord
10:30:11ₐlḥaqqⁱthe true,
10:30:12waḍallᵃand will be lost
10:30:13ʕanhumfrom them
10:30:15kānūthey used (to)
۝٣٠
There, [on that Day], every soul will be put to trial for what it did previously, and they will be returned to Allah, their master, the Truth, and lost from them is whatever they used to invent.
10:31:3yarzuqukumprovides for you
10:31:5ₐlssamāʾⁱthe sky
10:31:6waₐlʾarḍⁱand the earth?
10:31:7ʾammanOr who
10:31:8yamlikᵘcontrols
10:31:9ₐlssamʕᵃthe hearing
10:31:10waₐlʾabṣārᵃand the sight?
10:31:11wamanAnd who
10:31:12yuḫrijᵘbrings out
10:31:13ₐlḥayyᵃthe living
10:31:15ₐlmayyitⁱthe dead,
10:31:16wayuḫrijᵘand brings forth
10:31:17ₐlmayyitᵃthe dead
10:31:19ₐlḥayyⁱthe living?
10:31:20wamanAnd who
10:31:21yudabbirᵘdisposes
10:31:22ₐlʾamrᵃthe affairs?"
10:31:23fasayaqūlūnᵃThen they will say,
10:31:24ₐllahᵘ"Allah."
10:31:25faqulThen say,
10:31:26ʾafalā"Then will not
10:31:27tattaqūnᵃyou fear (Him)?"
۝٣١
Say, "Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? Or who controls hearing and sight and who brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and who arranges [every] matter?" They will say, "Allah," so say, "Then will you not fear Him?"
10:32:1faðālikumᵘFor that
10:32:2ₐllahᵘ(is) Allah,
10:32:3rabbukumᵘyour Lord,
10:32:4ₐlḥaqqᵘthe true.
10:32:5famāðāSo what (can be)
10:32:6baʕdᵃafter
10:32:7ₐlḥaqqⁱthe truth
10:32:8ʾillāexcept
10:32:9ₐlḍḍalālᵘthe error?
10:32:11tuṣrafūnᵃ(are) you turned away.
۝٣٢
For that is Allah, your Lord, the Truth. And what can be beyond truth except error? So how are you averted?
10:33:2ḥaqqat(is) proved true
10:33:3kalimatᵘ(the) Word
10:33:4rabbikᵃ(of) your Lord
10:33:6ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
10:33:7fasaqūdefiantly disobeyed,
10:33:8ʾannahumthat they
10:33:9(will) not
10:33:10yuʾminūnᵃbelieve.
۝٣٣
Thus the word of your Lord has come into effect upon those who defiantly disobeyed - that they will not believe.
10:34:2hal"Is (there)
10:34:4šurakāʾikumyour partners
10:34:5mman(any) who
10:34:6yabdaʾuoriginates
10:34:7ₐlḫalqᵃthe creation
10:34:8θummᵃthen
10:34:9yuʕīduhurepeats it?"
10:34:11ₐllahᵘ"Allah
10:34:13ₐlḫalqᵃthe creation
10:34:14θummᵃthen
10:34:15yuʕīduhurepeats it.
10:34:17tuʾfakūnᵃyou are deluded?"
۝٣٤
Say, "Are there of your 'partners' any who begins creation and then repeats it?" Say, "Allah begins creation and then repeats it, so how are you deluded?"
10:35:2hal"Is (there)
10:35:4šurakāʾikumyour partners
10:35:5mman(any) who
10:35:8ₐlḥaqqⁱthe truth?"
10:35:9qulⁱSay,
10:35:10ₐllahᵘ"Allah
10:35:12lilḥaqqⁱto the truth.
10:35:13ʾafamanIs then (he) who
10:35:16ₐlḥaqqⁱthe truth
10:35:17ʾaḥaqqᵘmore worthy
10:35:19yuttabaʕᵃhe should be followed
10:35:20ʾammanor (he) who
10:35:21llā(does) not
10:35:24ʾan[that]
10:35:25yuhdāhe is guided?
10:35:26famāThen what
10:35:27lakum(is) for you,
10:35:29taḥkumūnᵃyou judge?"
۝٣٥
Say, "Are there of your 'partners' any who guides to the truth?" Say, "Allah guides to the truth. So is He who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed or he who guides not unless he is guided? Then what is [wrong] with you - how do you judge?"
10:36:1wamāAnd not
10:36:2yattabiʕᵘfollow
10:36:3ʾakθaruhummost of them
10:36:4ʾillāexcept
10:36:5ẓannaⁿassumption.
10:36:6ʾinnᵃIndeed,
10:36:7ₐlẓẓannᵃthe assumption
10:36:8(does) not
10:36:10minᵃagainst
10:36:11ₐlḥaqqⁱthe truth
10:36:12šayʾaⁿanything.
10:36:13ʾinnᵃIndeed,
10:36:14ₐllahᵃAllah
10:36:15ʕalīmᵘⁿᵐ(is) All-Knower
10:36:16bimāof what
10:36:17yafʕalūnᵃthey do.
۝٣٦
And most of them follow not except assumption. Indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do.
10:37:1wamāAnd not
10:37:4ₐlqurʾānᵘthe Quran,
10:37:6yuftarā(it could be) produced
10:37:8dūnⁱother than Allah,
10:37:11taṣdīqᵃ(it is) a confirmation
10:37:12ₐllaðī(of that) which
10:37:13baynᵃ(was) before it
10:37:15watafṣīlᵃand a detailed explanation
10:37:16ₐlkitābⁱ(of) the Book,
10:37:17(there is) no
10:37:19fīhⁱin it,
10:37:21rrabbⁱ(the) Lord
10:37:22ₐlʕālamīnᵃ(of) the worlds.
۝٣٧
And it was not [possible] for this Qur'an to be produced by other than Allah, but [it is] a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of the [former] Scripture, about which there is no doubt, from the Lord of the worlds.
10:38:2yaqūlūnᵃ(do) they say,
10:38:3ᵢftarāhᵘ"He has invented it?"
10:38:5faʾtū"Then bring
10:38:6bisūraẗⁱⁿa Surah
10:38:8waᵤdʕūand call
10:38:9manⁱwhoever
10:38:10ᵢstaṭaʕtumyou can
10:38:11mminbesides Allah,
10:38:16ṣādiqīnᵃtruthful."
۝٣٨
Or do they say [about the Prophet], "He invented it?" Say, "Then bring forth a surah like it and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allah, if you should be truthful."
10:39:2kaððabūthey denied
10:39:5yuḥīṭūthey could encompass
10:39:6biʕilmihi(of) its knowledge
10:39:8yaʾtihimhas come (to) them
10:39:9taʾwīluhuits interpretation.
10:39:11kaððabᵃdenied
10:39:12ₐllaðīnᵃthose
10:39:13minbefore them,
10:39:15faᵤnẓurthen see
10:39:18ʕāqibaẗᵘ(the) end
10:39:19ₐlẓẓālimīnᵃ(of) the wrongdoers.
۝٣٩
Rather, they have denied that which they encompass not in knowledge and whose interpretation has not yet come to them. Thus did those before them deny. Then observe how was the end of the wrongdoers.
10:40:1waminhumAnd of them
10:40:2mman(is one) who
10:40:3yuʾminᵘbelieves
10:40:5waminhumand of them
10:40:6mman(is one) who
10:40:7llā(does) not
10:40:8yuʾminᵘbelieve
10:40:10warabbukᵃAnd your Lord
10:40:11ʾaʕlamᵘ(is) All-Knower
10:40:12biₐlmufsidīnᵃof the corrupters.
۝٤٠
And of them are those who believe in it, and of them are those who do not believe in it. And your Lord is most knowing of the corrupters
10:41:1waʾinAnd if
10:41:2kaððabūkᵃthey deny you
10:41:3faqulthen say,
10:41:4llī"For me
10:41:5ʕamalī(are) my deeds,
10:41:6walakumand for you
10:41:7ʕamalukum(are) your deeds.
10:41:9barīʾūnᵃ(are) disassociated
10:41:10mimmāfrom what
10:41:11ʾaʕmalᵘI do,
10:41:12waʾanāand I am
10:41:13barīʾᵘⁿdisassociated
10:41:14mmimmāfrom what
10:41:15taʕmalūnᵃyou do."
۝٤١
And if they deny you, [O Muhammad], then say, "For me are my deeds, and for you are your deeds. You are disassociated from what I do, and I am disassociated from what you do."
10:42:1waminhumAnd among them
10:42:2mman(are some) who
10:42:4ʾilaykᵃto you.
10:42:5ʾafaʾantᵃBut (can) you
10:42:6tusmiʕᵘcause the deaf to hear
10:42:7ₐlṣṣummᵃ
10:42:8walaweven though
10:42:9kānūthey [were]
10:42:10(do) not
10:42:11yaʕqilūnᵃuse reason?
۝٤٢
And among them are those who listen to you. But can you cause the deaf to hear, although they will not use reason?
10:43:1waminhumAnd among them
10:43:2mman(are some) who
10:43:3yanẓurᵘlook
10:43:4ʾilaykᵃat you.
10:43:5ʾafaʾantᵃBut (can) you
10:43:7ₐlʕumāᵃthe blind
10:43:8walaweven though
10:43:9kānūthey [were]
10:43:10(do) not
۝٤٣
And among them are those who look at you. But can you guide the blind although they will not [attempt to] see?
10:44:1ʾinnᵃIndeed,
10:44:2ₐllahᵃAllah
10:44:3(does) not
10:44:4yaẓlimᵘwrong
10:44:5ₐlnnāsᵃthe people
10:44:6šayʾaⁿ(in) anything,
10:44:8ₐlnnāsᵃthe people
10:44:9ʾanfusahumwrong themselves.
۝٤٤
Indeed, Allah does not wrong the people at all, but it is the people who are wronging themselves.
10:45:1wayawmᵃAnd the Day
10:45:2yaḥšuruhumHe will gather them,
10:45:4llamthey had not remained
10:45:6ʾillāexcept
10:45:7sāʕaẗᵃⁿan hour
10:45:9ₐlnnahārⁱthe day,
10:45:10yataʕārafūnᵃthey will recognize each other
10:45:11baynahumbetween them.
10:45:12qadCertainly,
10:45:13ḫasirᵃ(will have) lost
10:45:14ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
10:45:16biliqāʾⁱthe meeting
10:45:17ₐllahⁱ(with) Allah,
10:45:18wamāand not
10:45:20muhtadīnᵃthe guided ones.
۝٤٥
And on the Day when He will gather them, [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] but an hour of the day, [and] they will know each other. Those will have lost who denied the meeting with Allah and were not guided
10:46:1waʾimmāAnd whether
10:46:2nuriyannakᵃWe show you
10:46:3baʕḍᵃsome
10:46:4ₐllaðī(of) that which
10:46:5naʕiduhumWe promised them
10:46:7natawaffayannakᵃWe cause you to die,
10:46:8faʾilaynāthen to Us
10:46:9marjiʕuhum(is) their return,
10:46:10θummᵃthen
10:46:11ₐllahᵘAllah
10:46:12šahīdᵘⁿ(is) a Witness
10:46:15yafʕalūnᵃthey do.
۝٤٦
And whether We show you some of what We promise them, [O Muhammad], or We take you in death, to Us is their return; then, [either way], Allah is a witness concerning what they are doing
10:47:1walikullⁱAnd for every
10:47:2ʾummaẗⁱⁿnation
10:47:3rrasūlᵘⁿ(is) a Messenger.
10:47:4faʾiðāSo when
10:47:5jāʾᵃcomes
10:47:6rasūluhumtheir Messenger,
10:47:7quḍīᵃit will be judged
10:47:8baynahumbetween them
10:47:9biₐlqisṭⁱin justice,
10:47:11(will) not
10:47:12yuẓlamūnᵃbe wronged.
۝٤٧
And for every nation is a messenger. So when their messenger comes, it will be judged between them in justice, and they will not be wronged
10:48:1wayaqūlūnᵃAnd they say,
10:48:3hāðā(will) this,
10:48:4ₐlwaʕdᵘthe promise (be fulfilled),
10:48:7ṣādiqīnᵃtruthful?"
۝٤٨
And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?"
10:49:3ʾamlikᵘI have power
10:49:4linafsīfor myself
10:49:5ḍarraⁿ(for) any harm
10:49:6walāand not
10:49:7nafʕaⁿ(for) any profit
10:49:8ʾillāexcept
10:49:10šāʾᵃAllah wills.
10:49:12likullⁱFor every
10:49:13ʾummaẗⁱⁿnation
10:49:14ʾajalᵘⁿ(is) a term.
10:49:17ʾajaluhumtheir term,
10:49:18falāthen not
10:49:19yastaʾḫirūnᵃthey remain behind
10:49:20sāʕaẗᵃⁿan hour,
10:49:21walāand not
10:49:22yastaqdimūnᵃthey can precede (it)."
۝٤٩
Say, "I possess not for myself any harm or benefit except what Allah should will. For every nation is a [specified] term. When their time has come, then they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it]."
10:50:2ʾaraʾaytum"Do you see,
10:50:4ʾatākumcomes to you
10:50:5ʕaðābuhuHis punishment
10:50:6bayātaⁿ(by) night
10:50:8nahāraⁿ(by) day,
10:50:9mmāðāwhat (portion)
10:50:10yastaʕjilᵘof it would (wish to) hasten
10:50:12ₐlmujrimūnᵃthe criminals?"
۝٥٠
Say, "Have you considered: if His punishment should come to you by night or by day - for which [aspect] of it would the criminals be impatient?"
10:51:1ʾaθummᵃIs (it) then
10:51:4waqaʕᵃ(it had) occurred
10:51:5ʾāmantumyou (will) believe
10:51:8waqadAnd certainly
10:51:9kuntumyou were
10:51:10bihiseeking to hasten it.
۝٥١
Then is it that when it has [actually] occurred you will believe in it? Now? And you were [once] for it impatient
10:52:1θummᵃThen
10:52:2qīlᵃit will be said
10:52:3lillaðīnᵃto those who
10:52:4ẓalamūwronged,
10:52:6ʕaðābᵃpunishment
10:52:7ₐlḫuldⁱthe everlasting.
10:52:8halAre you (being) recompensed
10:52:11bimāfor what
10:52:12kuntumyou used (to)
۝٥٢
Then it will be said to those who had wronged, "Taste the punishment of eternity; are you being recompensed except for what you used to earn?"
