27:82:1waʾiðāAnd when
27:82:2waqaʕᵃ(is) fulfilled
27:82:3ₐlqawlᵘthe word
27:82:4ʕalayhimagainst them,
27:82:5ʾaḫrajnāWe will bring forth
27:82:6lahumfor them
27:82:7dābbaẗᵃⁿa creature
27:82:9ₐlʾarḍⁱthe earth
27:82:10tukallimuhumspeaking to them,
27:82:11ʾannᵃthat
27:82:12ₐlnnāsᵃthe people
27:82:14biʾāyātināof Our Signs,
27:82:16yūqinūnᵃcertain.
۝٨٢
And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith].
27:83:1wayawmᵃAnd (the) Day
27:83:2naḥšurᵘWe will gather
27:83:4kullⁱevery
27:83:5ʾummaẗⁱⁿnation
27:83:6fawjaⁿa troop
27:83:7mmimmanof (those) who
27:83:8yukaððibᵘdeny
27:83:9biʾāyātināOur Signs,
27:83:11yūzaʕūnᵃwill be set in rows.
۝٨٣
And [warn of] the Day when We will gather from every nation a company of those who deny Our signs, and they will be [driven] in rows
27:84:3jāʾūthey come,
27:84:4qālᵃHe will say,
27:84:5ʾakaððabtum"Did you deny
27:84:7walamwhile not
27:84:8tuḥīṭūyou encompassed
27:84:10ʕilmaⁿ(in) knowledge,
27:84:11ʾammāðāor what
27:84:12kuntumyou used (to)
۝٨٤
Until, when they arrive [at the place of Judgement], He will say, "Did you deny My signs while you encompassed them not in knowledge, or what [was it that] you were doing?"
27:85:1wawaqaʕᵃAnd (will be) fulfilled
27:85:2ₐlqawlᵘthe word
27:85:3ʕalayhimagainst them
27:85:4bimābecause
27:85:5ẓalamūthey wronged,
27:85:6fahumand they
27:85:7(will) not
27:85:8yanṭiqūnᵃspeak.
۝٨٥
And the decree will befall them for the wrong they did, and they will not [be able to] speak.
27:86:3ʾannāthat We
27:86:4jaʕalnā[We] have made
27:86:5ₐllaylᵃthe night
27:86:6liyaskunūthat they may rest
27:86:7fīhⁱin it,
27:86:8waₐlnnahārᵃand the day
27:86:9mubṣiraⁿgiving visibility?
27:86:10ʾinnᵃIndeed,
27:86:13laʾāyātⁱⁿsurely (are) Signs
27:86:14lliqawmⁱⁿfor a people
27:86:15yuʾminūnᵃwho believe.
۝٨٦
Do they not see that We made the night that they may rest therein and the day giving sight? Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.
27:87:1wayawmᵃAnd (the) Day
27:87:2yunfaḫᵘwill be blown
27:87:4ₐlṣṣūrⁱthe trumpet
27:87:5fafaziʕᵃand will be terrified
27:87:6manwhoever
27:87:7(is) in
27:87:8ₐlssamāwātⁱthe heavens
27:87:9wamanand whoever
27:87:10(is) in
27:87:11ₐlʾarḍⁱthe earth
27:87:14šāʾᵃAllah wills.
27:87:16wakullᵘⁿAnd all
27:87:17ʾatawhᵘ(will) come to Him
27:87:18dāḫirīnᵃhumbled.
۝٨٧
And [warn of] the Day the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will be terrified except whom Allah wills. And all will come to Him humbled.
27:88:1watarāAnd you see
27:88:2ₐljibālᵃthe mountains,
27:88:3taḥsabuhāthinking them
27:88:4jāmidaẗᵃⁿfirmly fixed,
27:88:5wahīᵃwhile they
27:88:6tamurrᵘwill pass
27:88:7marrᵃ(as the) passing
27:88:8ₐlssaḥābⁱ(of) the clouds.
27:88:9ṣunʕᵃ(The) Work
27:88:10ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah
27:88:12ʾatqanᵃperfected
27:88:14šayʾⁱⁿthings.
27:88:15ʾinnahuIndeed, He
27:88:16ḫabīrᵘⁿᵐ(is) All-Aware
27:88:17bimāof what
27:88:18tafʕalūnᵃyou do.
۝٨٨
And you see the mountains, thinking them rigid, while they will pass as the passing of clouds. [It is] the work of Allah, who perfected all things. Indeed, He is Acquainted with that which you do.
27:89:1manWhoever
27:89:2jāʾᵃcomes
27:89:3biₐlḥasanaẗⁱwith the good,
27:89:4falahuthen for him
27:89:5ḫayrᵘⁿ(will be) better
27:89:7wahumand they,
27:89:9fazaʕⁱⁿ(the) terror
27:89:10yawmaʾiðⁱⁿ(of) that Day
27:89:11ʾāminūnᵃ(will be) safe.
۝٨٩
Whoever comes [at Judgement] with a good deed will have better than it, and they, from the terror of that Day, will be safe.
27:90:1wamanAnd whoever
27:90:2jāʾᵃcomes
27:90:3biₐlssayyiʾaẗⁱwith the evil,
27:90:4fakubbatwill be cast down
27:90:5wujūhuhumtheir faces
27:90:7ₐlnnārⁱthe Fire.
27:90:9tujzawnᵃyou recompensed
27:90:11(for) what
27:90:12kuntumyou used (to)
۝٩٠
And whoever comes with an evil deed - their faces will be overturned into the Fire, [and it will be said], "Are you recompensed except for what you used to do?"
27:91:2ʾumirtᵘI am commanded
27:91:4ʾaʕbudᵃI worship
27:91:5rabbᵃ(the) Lord
27:91:6hāðihⁱ(of) this
27:91:7ₐlbaldaẗⁱcity,
27:91:8ₐllaðīthe One Who
27:91:9ḥarramahāmade it sacred
27:91:10walahuand to Him (belongs)
27:91:12šayʾⁱⁿthings.
27:91:13waʾumirtᵘAnd I am commanded
27:91:17ₐlmuslimīnᵃthe Muslims
۝٩١
[Say, O Muhammad], "I have only been commanded to worship the Lord of this city, who made it sacred and to whom [belongs] all things. And I am commanded to be of the Muslims [those who submit to Allah]
27:92:1waʾanAnd that
27:92:3ₐlqurʾānᵃthe Quran."
27:92:4famanⁱAnd whoever
27:92:5ᵢhtadāaccepts guidance
27:92:6faʾinnamāthen only
27:92:7yahtadīhe accepts guidance
27:92:8linafsihifor himself;
27:92:9wamanand whoever
27:92:10ḍallᵃgoes astray
27:92:11faqulthen say,
27:92:15ₐlmunðirīnᵃthe warners."
۝٩٢
And to recite the Qur'an." And whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] himself; and whoever strays - say, "I am only [one] of the warners."
27:93:1waqulⁱAnd say,
27:93:2ₐlḥamdᵘ"All praise (be)
27:93:3lillahⁱto Allah,
27:93:4sayurīkumHe will show you
27:93:5ʾāyātihiHis Signs,
27:93:6fataʕrifūnahāand you will recognize them.
27:93:7wamāAnd your Lord is not
27:93:9biġāfilⁱⁿunaware
27:93:10ʕammāof what
27:93:11taʕmalūnᵃyou do."
۝٩٣
And say, "[All] praise is [due] to Allah. He will show you His signs, and you will recognize them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do."

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
28:1:1ṭāʾ sīn mīmTa Seem Meem.
۝١
Ta, Seen, Meem.
28:2:1tilkᵃThese
28:2:2ʾāyātᵘ(are the) Verses
28:2:3ₐlkitābⁱ(of) the Book
28:2:4ₐlmubīnⁱthe clear.
۝٢
These are the verses of the clear Book.
28:3:2ʕalaykᵃto you
28:3:4nnabaʾⁱ(the) news
28:3:5mūsā(of) Musa
28:3:6wafirʕawnᵃand Firaun
28:3:7biₐlḥaqqⁱin truth
28:3:8liqawmⁱⁿfor a people
28:3:9yuʾminūnᵃwho believe.
۝٣
We recite to you from the news of Moses and Pharaoh in truth for a people who believe.
28:4:1ʾinnᵃIndeed,
28:4:3ʕalāexalted himself
28:4:5ₐlʾarḍⁱthe land
28:4:6wajaʕalᵃand made
28:4:7ʾahlahāits people
28:4:8šiyaʕaⁿ(into) sects,
28:4:9yastaḍʕifᵘoppressing
28:4:10ṭāʾifaẗᵃⁿa group
28:4:11mminhumamong them,
28:4:12yuðabbiḥᵘslaughtering
28:4:14wayastaḥāiand letting live
28:4:15nisāʾahumtheir women.
28:4:16ʾinnahuIndeed, he
28:4:19ₐlmufsidīnᵃthe corrupters.
۝٤
Indeed, Pharaoh exalted himself in the land and made its people into factions, oppressing a sector among them, slaughtering their [newborn] sons and keeping their females alive. Indeed, he was of the corrupters.
28:5:1wanurīdᵘAnd We wanted
28:5:3nnamunnᵃbestow a favor
28:5:5ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
28:5:6ᵢstuḍʕifūwere oppressed
28:5:8ₐlʾarḍⁱthe land
28:5:9wanajʕalahumand make them
28:5:10ʾaʾimmaẗᵃⁿleaders
28:5:11wanajʕalahumᵘand make them
28:5:12ₐlwāriθīnᵃthe inheritors,
۝٥
And We wanted to confer favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them leaders and make them inheritors
28:6:1wanumakkinᵃAnd [We] establish
28:6:4ₐlʾarḍⁱthe land
28:6:5wanurīᵃand show
28:6:7wahāmānᵃand Haman
28:6:8wajunūdahumāand their hosts
28:6:9minhumthrough them
28:6:12yaḥðarūnᵃfearing.
۝٦
And establish them in the land and show Pharaoh and [his minister] Haman and their soldiers through them that which they had feared.
28:7:1waʾawḥaynāAnd We inspired
28:7:3ʾummⁱ(the) mother
28:7:4mūsā(of) Musa
28:7:6ʾarḍiʕīhⁱ"Suckle him,
28:7:7faʾiðābut when
28:7:8ḫiftⁱyou fear
28:7:9ʕalayhⁱfor him,
28:7:10faʾalqīhⁱthen cast him
28:7:11in(to)
28:7:12ₐlyammⁱthe river
28:7:13walāand (do) not
28:7:15walāand (do) not
28:7:17ʾinnāIndeed, We
28:7:18rāddūhᵘ(will) restore him
28:7:19ʾilaykⁱto you
28:7:20wajāʕilūhᵘand (will) make him
28:7:22ₐlmursalīnᵃthe Messengers."
۝٧
And We inspired to the mother of Moses, "Suckle him; but when you fear for him, cast him into the river and do not fear and do not grieve. Indeed, We will return him to you and will make him [one] of the messengers."
28:8:1faₐltaqaṭahuThen picked him up
28:8:2ʾālᵘ(the) family
28:8:3firʕawnᵃ(of) Firaun
28:8:4liyakūnᵃso that he might become
28:8:5lahumto them
28:8:6ʕaduwwaⁿan enemy
28:8:7waḥazanaⁿand a grief.
28:8:8ʾinnᵃIndeed,
28:8:10wahāmānᵃand Haman
28:8:11wajunūdahumāand their hosts
28:8:13ḫāṭiʾīnᵃsinners.
۝٨
And the family of Pharaoh picked him up [out of the river] so that he would become to them an enemy and a [cause of] grief. Indeed, Pharaoh and Haman and their soldiers were deliberate sinners.
28:9:1waqālatⁱAnd said
28:9:2ᵢmraʾatᵘ(the) wife
28:9:3firʕawnᵃ(of) Firaun,
28:9:4qurratᵘ"A comfort
28:9:5ʕaynⁱⁿ(of the) eye
28:9:6llīfor me
28:9:7walakᵃand for you;
28:9:8(Do) not
28:9:9taqtulūhᵘkill him;
28:9:11ʾan(that)
28:9:12yanfaʕanāhe may benefit us,
28:9:14nattaḫiðahuwe may take him
28:9:15waladaⁿ(as) a son."
28:9:16wahumAnd they
28:9:17(did) not
28:9:18yašʕurūnᵃperceive.
۝٩
And the wife of Pharaoh said, "[He will be] a comfort of the eye for me and for you. Do not kill him; perhaps he may benefit us, or we may adopt him as a son." And they perceived not.
28:10:1waʾaṣbaḥᵃAnd became
28:10:2fuʾādᵘ(the) heart
28:10:3ʾummⁱ(of the) mother
28:10:4mūsā(of) Musa
28:10:5fāriġaⁿempty.
28:10:6ʾinThat,
28:10:7kādatshe was near
28:10:8latubdī(to) disclosing
28:10:9bihiabout him,
28:10:12rrabaṭnāWe strengthened
28:10:14qalbihāher heart,
28:10:15litakūnᵃso that she would be
28:10:17ₐlmuʾminīnᵃthe believers.
۝١٠
And the heart of Moses' mother became empty [of all else]. She was about to disclose [the matter concerning] him had We not bound fast her heart that she would be of the believers.
28:11:1waqālatAnd she said
28:11:2liʾuḫtihito his sister,
28:11:3quṣṣīhⁱ"Follow him."
28:11:4fabaṣuratSo she watched
28:11:7junubⁱⁿa distance
28:11:8wahumwhile they
28:11:9(did) not
28:11:10yašʕurūnᵃperceive.
۝١١
And she said to his sister, "Follow him"; so she watched him from a distance while they perceived not.
