58:14:4ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
58:14:5tawallawtake as allies
58:14:6qawmaⁿa people,
58:14:7ġaḍibᵃwrath
58:14:8ₐllahᵘ(of) Allah
58:14:9ʕalayhim(is) upon them?
58:14:10mmāThey (are) not
58:14:13walāand not
58:14:15wayaḥlifūnᵃand they swear
58:14:17ₐlkaðibⁱthe lie
58:14:18wahumwhile they
۝١٤
Have you not considered those who make allies of a people with whom Allah has become angry? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear to untruth while they know [they are lying].
58:15:1ʾaʕaddᵃAllah has prepared
58:15:3lahumfor them
58:15:4ʕaðābaⁿa punishment
58:15:5šadīdaⁿsevere.
58:15:6ʾinnahumIndeed, [they]
58:15:7sāʾᵃevil is
58:15:9kānūthey used to
۝١٥
Allah has prepared for them a severe punishment. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.
58:16:1ᵢttaḫaðūThey have taken
58:16:2ʾaymānahumtheir oaths
58:16:3junnaẗᵃⁿ(as) a cover,
58:16:4faṣaddūso they hinder
58:16:6sabīlⁱ(the) way of Allah,
58:16:8falahumso for them
58:16:9ʕaðābᵘⁿ(is) a punishment
58:16:10mmuhīnᵘⁿhumiliating.
۝١٦
They took their [false] oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah, and for them is a humiliating punishment.
58:17:2tuġnīᵃwill avail
58:17:4ʾamwāluhumtheir wealth
58:17:6ʾawlāduhumtheir children
58:17:7mminᵃagainst
58:17:8ₐllahⁱAllah
58:17:9šayʾaⁿ(in) anything.
58:17:11ʾaṣḥābᵘ(will be) companions
58:17:12ₐlnnārⁱ(of) the Fire,
58:17:15ḫālidūnᵃwill abide forever.
۝١٧
Never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally
58:18:1yawmᵃ(On the) Day
58:18:2yabʕaθuhumᵘAllah will raise them
58:18:5fayaḥlifūnᵃthen they will swear
58:18:8yaḥlifūnᵃthey swear
58:18:10wayaḥsabūnᵃAnd they think
58:18:11ʾannahumthat they
58:18:12ʕalā(are) on
58:18:13šayʾⁱⁿsomething.
58:18:14ʾalāNo doubt!
58:18:15ʾinnahumIndeed, they
58:18:16humᵘ[they]
58:18:17ₐlkāðibūnᵃ(are) the liars.
۝١٨
On the Day Allah will resurrect them all, and they will swear to Him as they swear to you and think that they are [standing] on something. Unquestionably, it is they who are the liars.
58:19:1ᵢstaḥwaðᵃHas overcome
58:19:3ₐlššayṭānᵘthe Shaitaan,
58:19:4faʾansāhumso he made them forget
58:19:5ðikrᵃ(the) remembrance
58:19:6ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah.
58:19:8ḥizbᵘ(are the) party
58:19:9ₐlššayṭānⁱ(of) the Shaitaan.
58:19:10ʾalāNo doubt!
58:19:11ʾinnᵃIndeed,
58:19:12ḥizbᵃ(the) party
58:19:13ₐlššayṭānⁱ(of) the Shaitaan,
58:19:15ₐlḫāsirūnᵃ(will be) the losers.
۝١٩
Satan has overcome them and made them forget the remembrance of Allah. Those are the party of Satan. Unquestionably, the party of Satan - they will be the losers.
58:20:1ʾinnᵃIndeed,
58:20:2ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
58:20:3yuḥāddūnᵃoppose
58:20:4ₐllahᵃAllah
58:20:5warasūlahuand His Messenger,
58:20:7(will be) among
58:20:8ₐlʾaðallīnᵃthe most humiliated.
۝٢٠
Indeed, the ones who oppose Allah and His Messenger - those will be among the most humbled.
58:21:1katabᵃAllah has decreed,
58:21:3laʾaġlibannᵃ"Surely, I will overcome,
58:21:5warusulīand My Messengers."
58:21:6ʾinnᵃIndeed,
58:21:7ₐllahᵃAllah
58:21:8qawīīᵘⁿ(is) All-Strong,
58:21:9ʕazīzᵘⁿAll-Mighty.

Allah has written, "I will surely overcome, I and My messengers." Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.
58:22:1llāYou will not find
58:22:3qawmaⁿa people
58:22:4yuʾminūnᵃwho believe
58:22:5biₐllahⁱin Allah
58:22:6waₐlyawmⁱand the Day
58:22:7ₐlʾāḫirⁱthe Last
58:22:9man(those) who
58:22:10ḥāddᵃoppose
58:22:11ₐllahᵃAllah
58:22:12warasūlahuand His Messenger
58:22:15ʾābāʾahumtheir fathers
58:22:19ʾiḫwānahumtheir brothers
58:22:21ʕašīratahumtheir kindred.
58:22:23katabᵃHe has decreed
58:22:25qulūbihimᵘtheir hearts
58:22:26ₐlʾīmānᵃfaith
58:22:27waʾayyadahumand supported them
58:22:28birūḥⁱⁿwith a spirit
58:22:29mminhᵘfrom Him.
58:22:30wayudḫiluhumAnd He will admit them
58:22:31jannātⁱⁿ(to) Gardens,
58:22:34taḥtihāunderneath it
58:22:35ₐlʾanhārᵘthe rivers,
58:22:36ḫālidīnᵃwill abide forever
58:22:38raḍīᵃAllah is pleased
58:22:40ʕanhumwith them,
58:22:41waraḍūand they are pleased
58:22:42ʕanhᵘwith Him.
58:22:44ḥizbᵘ(are the) party
58:22:45ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah.
58:22:46ʾalāNo doubt!
58:22:47ʾinnᵃIndeed,
58:22:48ḥizbᵃ(the) party
58:22:49ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah,
58:22:51ₐlmufliḥūnᵃ(are) the successful ones.
۝٢٢
You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. Those - He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit from Him. And We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him - those are the party of Allah. Unquestionably, the party of Allah - they are the successful.

الحشر
The Exile
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
59:1:1sabbaḥᵃGlorifies
59:1:2lillahⁱ[to] Allah
59:1:3whatever
59:1:4(is) in
59:1:5ₐlssamāwātⁱthe heavens
59:1:6wamāand whatever
59:1:7(is) in
59:1:8ₐlʾarḍⁱthe earth.
59:1:9wahuwᵃAnd He
59:1:10ₐlʕazīzᵘ(is) the All-Mighty,
59:1:11ₐlḥakīmᵘthe All-Wise.

Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth exalts Allah, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
59:2:2ₐllaðī(is) the One Who
59:2:3ʾaḫrajᵃexpelled
59:2:4ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
59:2:5kafarūdisbelieved
59:2:7ʾahlⁱ(the) People
59:2:8ₐlkitābⁱ(of) the Scripture
59:2:10diyārihimtheir homes
59:2:11liʾawwalⁱat (the) first
59:2:12ₐlḥašrⁱgathering.
59:2:14ẓanantumyou think
59:2:16yaḫrujūthey would leave,
59:2:17waẓannūand they thought
59:2:18ʾannahumthat [they]
59:2:19mmāniʕatuhumwould defend them
59:2:20ḥuṣūnuhumtheir fortresses
59:2:21mminᵃagainst
59:2:22ₐllahⁱAllah.
59:2:23faʾatāhumᵘBut came to them
59:2:24ₐllahᵘAllah
59:2:26ḥayθᵘwhere
59:2:28yaḥtasibūthey expected,
59:2:29waqaðafᵃand He cast
59:2:31qulūbihimᵘtheir hearts
59:2:32ₐlrruʕbᵃ[the] terror,
59:2:33yuḫribūnᵃthey destroyed
59:2:34buyūtahumtheir houses
59:2:35biʾaydīhimwith their hands
59:2:36waʾaydīand the hands
59:2:37ₐlmuʾminīnᵃ(of) the believers.
59:2:38faᵢʕtabirūSo take a lesson,
59:2:39yāʾulīO those endowed
59:2:40ₐlʾabṣārⁱ(with) insight!

It is He who expelled the ones who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think they would leave, and they thought that their fortresses would protect them from Allah; but [the decree of] Allah came upon them from where they had not expected, and He cast terror into their hearts [so] they destroyed their houses by their [own] hands and the hands of the believers. So take warning, O people of vision.
59:3:1walawlāAnd if not
59:3:2ʾan[that]
59:3:3katabᵃ(had) decreed
59:3:4ₐllahᵘAllah
59:3:5ʕalayhimᵘfor them
59:3:6ₐljalāʾᵃthe exile,
59:3:7laʕaððabahumcertainly He (would) have punished them
59:3:9ₐlddunyāthe world,
59:3:10walahumand for them
59:3:12ₐlʾāḫiraẗⁱthe Hereafter
59:3:13ʕaðābᵘ(is) a punishment
59:3:14ₐlnnārⁱ(of) the Fire.

And if not that Allah had decreed for them evacuation, He would have punished them in [this] world, and for them in the Hereafter is the punishment of the Fire.
59:4:1ðālikᵃThat
59:4:2biʾannahum(is) because [they]
59:4:3šāqqūthey opposed
59:4:4ₐllahᵃAllah
59:4:5warasūlahuand His Messenger.
59:4:6wamanAnd whoever
59:4:7yušāqqⁱopposes
59:4:8ₐllahᵃAllah
59:4:9faʾinnᵃthen indeed,
59:4:10ₐllahᵃAllah
59:4:11šadīdᵘ(is) severe
59:4:12ₐlʕiqābⁱ(in) penalty.
۝٤
That is because they opposed Allah and His Messenger. And whoever opposes Allah - then indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.
59:5:1Whatever
59:5:2qaṭaʕtumyou cut down
59:5:4llīnaẗⁱⁿ(the) palm-trees
59:5:6taraktumūhāyou left them
59:5:7qāʾimaẗᵃⁿstanding
59:5:9ʾuṣūlihātheir roots,
59:5:10fabiʾiðnⁱit (was) by the permission
59:5:11ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah,
59:5:12waliyuḫzīᵃand that He may disgrace
59:5:13ₐlfāsiqīnᵃthe defiantly disobedient.
۝٥
Whatever you have cut down of [their] palm trees or left standing on their trunks - it was by permission of Allah and so He would disgrace the defiantly disobedient.
59:6:1wamāAnd what
59:6:2ʾafāʾᵃ(was) restored
59:6:3ₐllahᵘ(by) Allah
59:6:5rasūlihiHis Messenger
59:6:6minhumfrom them,
59:6:7famāthen not
59:6:8ʾawjaftumyou made expedition
59:6:9ʕalayhⁱfor it
59:6:11ḫaylⁱⁿhorses
59:6:12walāand not
59:6:13rikābⁱⁿcamels,
59:6:15ₐllahᵃAllah
59:6:16yusalliṭᵘgives power
59:6:17rusulahu(to) His Messengers
59:6:20yašāʾᵘHe wills.
59:6:21waₐllahᵘAnd Allah
59:6:22ʕalā(is) on
59:6:23kullⁱevery
59:6:24šayʾⁱⁿthing
59:6:25qadīrᵘⁿAll-Powerful.
۝٦
And what Allah restored [of property] to His Messenger from them - you did not spur for it [in an expedition] any horses or camels, but Allah gives His messengers power over whom He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.
59:7:2ʾafāʾᵃ(was) restored
59:7:3ₐllahᵘ(by) Allah
59:7:5rasūlihiHis Messenger
59:7:7ʾahlⁱ(the) people
59:7:8ₐlqurā(of) the towns,
59:7:9falillahⁱ(it is) for Allah
59:7:10walilrrasūlⁱand His Messenger
59:7:11waliðīand for those
59:7:12ₐlqurbā(of) the kindred
59:7:13waₐlyatāmāand the orphans
59:7:14waₐlmasākīnⁱand the needy
59:7:16ₐlssabīlⁱthe wayfarer,
59:7:19yakūnᵃit becomes
59:7:20dūlaẗᵃⁿᵐa (perpetual) circulation
59:7:21baynᵃbetween
59:7:22ₐlʾaġniyāʾⁱthe rich
59:7:23minkumamong you.
59:7:24wamāAnd whatever
59:7:25ʾātākumᵘgives you
59:7:26ₐlrrasūlᵘthe Messenger,
59:7:27faḫuðūhᵘtake it
59:7:28wamāand whatever
59:7:29nahākumhe forbids you
59:7:30ʕanhᵘfrom it,
59:7:33ₐllahᵃAllah.
59:7:34ʾinnᵃIndeed,
59:7:35ₐllahᵃAllah
59:7:36šadīdᵘ(is) severe
59:7:37ₐlʕiqābⁱ(in) penalty.
۝٧
And what Allah restored to His Messenger from the people of the towns - it is for Allah and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and orphans and the [stranded] traveler - so that it will not be a perpetual distribution among the rich from among you. And whatever the Messenger has given you - take; and what he has forbidden you - refrain from. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.
59:8:1lilfuqarāʾⁱFor the poor
59:8:2ₐlmuhājirīnᵃemigrants,
59:8:3ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
59:8:4ʾuḫrijūwere expelled
59:8:6diyārihimtheir homes
59:8:7waʾamwālihimand their properties,
59:8:8yabtaġūnᵃseeking
59:8:9faḍlaⁿbounty
59:8:11ₐllahⁱAllah
59:8:12wariḍwānaⁿand pleasure
59:8:13wayanṣurūnᵃand helping
59:8:14ₐllahᵃAllah
59:8:15warasūlahuand His Messenger.
59:8:17humᵘthey
59:8:18ₐlṣṣādiqūnᵃ(are) the truthful.
۝٨
For the poor emigrants who were expelled from their homes and their properties, seeking bounty from Allah and [His] approval and supporting Allah and His Messenger, [there is also a share]. Those are the truthful.
59:9:1waₐllaðīnᵃAnd those who
59:9:2tabawwaʾūsettled
59:9:3ₐlddārᵃ(in) the home
59:9:4waₐlʾīmānᵃand (accepted) faith
59:9:6qablihimbefore them
59:9:7yuḥibbūnᵃlove
59:9:8man(those) who
59:9:9hājarᵃemigrated
59:9:11walāand not
59:9:12yajidūnᵃthey find
59:9:14ṣudūrihimtheir breasts
59:9:15ḥājaẗᵃⁿany want
59:9:17ʾūtūthey were given
59:9:18wayuʾθirūnᵃbut prefer
59:9:20ʾanfusihimthemselves,
59:9:21walaweven though
59:9:23bihimwith them
59:9:24ḫaṣāṣaẗᵘⁿpoverty.
59:9:25wamanAnd whoever
59:9:26yūqᵃis saved
59:9:27šuḥḥᵃ(from) stinginess
59:9:28nafsihi(of) his soul,
59:9:29faʾulāʾikᵃthen those
59:9:30humᵘ[they]
59:9:31ₐlmufliḥūnᵃ(are) the successful ones.
۝٩
And [also for] those who were settled in al-Madinah and [adopted] the faith before them. They love those who emigrated to them and find not any want in their breasts of what the emigrants were given but give [them] preference over themselves, even though they are in privation. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful.
59:10:1waₐllaðīnᵃAnd those who
59:10:3minᵐfrom
59:10:4baʕdihimafter them
59:10:5yaqūlūnᵃthey say,
59:10:6rabbanā"Our Lord,
59:10:7ᵢġfirforgive
59:10:9waliʾiḫwānināand our brothers
59:10:11sabaqūnāpreceded us
59:10:12biₐlʾīmānⁱin faith,
59:10:13walāand (do) not
59:10:16qulūbināour hearts
59:10:17ġillaⁿany rancor
59:10:18llillaðīnᵃtowards those who
59:10:21ʾinnakᵃindeed You
59:10:22raʾūfᵘⁿ(are) Full of Kindness,
59:10:23rraḥīmᵘⁿMost Merciful."
۝١٠
And [there is a share for] those who came after them, saying, "Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful."
