63:4:1waʾiðāAnd when
63:4:2raʾaytahumyou see them
63:4:3tuʕjibukᵃpleases you
63:4:4ʾajsāmuhumtheir bodies,
63:4:5waʾinand if
63:4:6yaqūlūthey speak,
63:4:7tasmaʕyou listen
63:4:8liqawlihimto their speech,
63:4:9kaʾannahumas if they (were)
63:4:10ḫušubᵘⁿpieces of wood
63:4:11mmusannadaẗᵘⁿpropped up.
63:4:12yaḥsabūnᵃThey think
63:4:13kullᵃevery
63:4:14ṣayḥaẗⁱⁿshout
63:4:15ʕalayhim(is) against them.
63:4:16humᵘThey
63:4:17ₐlʕaduwwᵘ(are) the enemy,
63:4:18faᵢḥðarhumso beware of them.
63:4:19qātalahumᵘMay destroy them
63:4:20ₐllahᵘAllah!
63:4:22yuʾfakūnᵃare they deluded?
۝٤
And when you see them, their forms please you, and if they speak, you listen to their speech. [They are] as if they were pieces of wood propped up - they think that every shout is against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?
63:5:1waʾiðāAnd when
63:5:2qīlᵃit is said
63:5:3lahumto them,
63:5:5yastaġfirwill ask forgiveness
63:5:6lakumfor you
63:5:7rasūlᵘ(the) Messenger
63:5:8ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah."
63:5:9lawwawThey turn aside
63:5:10ruʾūsahumtheir heads
63:5:11waraʾaytahumand you see them
63:5:12yaṣuddūnᵃturning away
63:5:13wahumwhile they
63:5:14mmustakbirūnᵃ(are) arrogant.
۝٥
And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you," they turn their heads aside and you see them evading while they are arrogant.
63:6:1sawāʾᵘⁿ(It) is same
63:6:3ʾastaġfartᵃwhether you ask forgiveness
63:6:4lahumfor them
63:6:6lam(do) not
63:6:7tastaġfirask forgiveness
63:6:8lahumfor them.
63:6:9lanNever
63:6:10yaġfirᵃwill forgive
63:6:11ₐllahᵘAllah
63:6:12lahum[to] them.
63:6:13ʾinnᵃIndeed,
63:6:14ₐllahᵃAllah
63:6:15(does) not
63:6:17ₐlqawmᵃthe people,
63:6:18ₐlfāsiqīnᵃthe defiantly disobedient.
۝٦
It is all the same for them whether you ask forgiveness for them or do not ask forgiveness for them; never will Allah forgive them. Indeed, Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.
63:7:1humᵘThey
63:7:2ₐllaðīnᵃ(are) those who
63:7:4"(Do) not
63:7:7man(those) who
63:7:8ʕindᵃ(are) with
63:7:9rasūlⁱ(the) Messenger
63:7:10ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah
63:7:12yanfaḍḍūthey disband."
63:7:13walillahⁱAnd for Allah
63:7:14ḫazāʾinᵘ(are the) treasures
63:7:15ₐlssamāwātⁱ(of) the heavens
63:7:16waₐlʾarḍⁱand the earth,
63:7:18ₐlmunāfiqīnᵃthe hypocrites
63:7:19(do) not
63:7:20yafqahūnᵃunderstand.
۝٧
They are the ones who say, "Do not spend on those who are with the Messenger of Allah until they disband." And to Allah belongs the depositories of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand.
63:8:1yaqūlūnᵃThey say,
63:8:3rrajaʕnāwe return
63:8:5ₐlmadīnaẗⁱAl-Madinah,
63:8:6layuḫrijannᵃsurely, will expel
63:8:7ₐlʾaʕazzᵘthe more honorable
63:8:9ₐlʾaðallᵃthe more humble."
63:8:10walillahⁱBut for Allah
63:8:11ₐlʕizzaẗᵘ(is) the honor
63:8:12walirasūlihiand for His Messenger
63:8:13walilmuʾminīnᵃand for the believers,
63:8:15ₐlmunāfiqīnᵃthe hypocrites
63:8:16(do) not
۝٨
They say, "If we return to al-Madinah, the more honored [for power] will surely expel therefrom the more humble." And to Allah belongs [all] honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.
63:9:2ₐllaðīnᵃyou (who)
63:9:4(Let) not
63:9:5tulhikumdivert you
63:9:6ʾamwālukumyour wealth
63:9:7walāand not
63:9:8ʾawlādukumyour children
63:9:9ʕanfrom
63:9:10ðikrⁱ(the) remembrance
63:9:11ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah.
63:9:12wamanAnd whoever
63:9:14ðālikᵃthat,
63:9:15faʾulāʾikᵃthen those
63:9:16humᵘ[they]
63:9:17ₐlḫāsirūnᵃ(are) the losers.
۝٩
O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from remembrance of Allah. And whoever does that - then those are the losers.
63:10:4razaqnākumWe have provided you
63:10:6qablⁱbefore
63:10:7ʾan[that]
63:10:9ʾaḥadakumᵘ(to) one of you
63:10:10ₐlmawtᵘthe death
63:10:11fayaqūlᵃand he says,
63:10:12rabbⁱ"My Lord!
63:10:14ʾaḫḫartanīYou delay me
63:10:16ʾajalⁱⁿa term
63:10:17qarībⁱⁿnear
63:10:18faʾaṣṣaddaqᵃso I would give charity
63:10:20mminᵃamong
63:10:21ₐlṣṣāliḥīnᵃthe righteous."
۝١٠
And spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous."
63:11:1walanBut never
63:11:2yuʾaḫḫirᵃwill (be) delayed
63:11:3ₐllahᵘ(by) Allah
63:11:4nafsaⁿa soul
63:11:6jāʾᵃhas come
63:11:7ʾajaluhāits term.
63:11:8waₐllahᵘAnd Allah
63:11:9ḫabīrᵘⁿᵐ(is) All-Aware
63:11:10bimāof what
63:11:11taʕmalūnᵃyou do.
۝١١
But never will Allah delay a soul when its time has come. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.
64
التغابن
The Mutual Disillusion
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
64:1:1yusabbiḥᵘGlorifies
64:1:2lillahⁱ[to] Allah
64:1:3whatever
64:1:4(is) in
64:1:5ₐlssamāwātⁱthe heavens
64:1:6wamāand whatever
64:1:7(is) in
64:1:8ₐlʾarḍⁱthe earth.
64:1:9lahᵘFor Him
64:1:10ₐlmulkᵘ(is the) dominion
64:1:11walahᵘand for Him
64:1:12ₐlḥamdᵘ(is) the praise.
64:1:13wahuwᵃAnd He
64:1:14ʕalā(is) on
64:1:15kullⁱevery
64:1:16šayʾⁱⁿthing
64:1:17qadīrᵘⁿAll-Powerful.
۝١
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allah. To Him belongs dominion, and to Him belongs [all] praise, and He is over all things competent.
64:2:2ₐllaðī(is) the One Who
64:2:3ḫalaqakumcreated you
64:2:4faminkumand among you
64:2:5kāfirᵘⁿ(is) a disbeliever
64:2:6waminkumand among you
64:2:7mmuʾminᵘⁿ(is) a believer.
64:2:8waₐllahᵘAnd Allah
64:2:9bimāof what
64:2:11baṣīrᵘⁿ(is) All-Seer.
۝٢
It is He who created you, and among you is the disbeliever, and among you is the believer. And Allah, of what you do, is Seeing.
64:3:1ḫalaqᵃHe created
64:3:2ₐlssamāwātⁱthe heavens
64:3:3waₐlʾarḍᵃand the earth
64:3:4biₐlḥaqqⁱwith truth,
64:3:5waṣawwarakumand He formed you
64:3:6faʾaḥsanᵃand made good
64:3:7ṣuwarakumyour forms,
64:3:8waʾilayhⁱand to Him
64:3:9ₐlmaṣīrᵘ(is) the final return.
۝٣
He created the heavens and earth in truth and formed you and perfected your forms; and to Him is the [final] destination.
64:4:1yaʕlamᵘHe knows
64:4:3(is) in
64:4:4ₐlssamāwātⁱthe heavens
64:4:5waₐlʾarḍⁱand the earth,
64:4:6wayaʕlamᵘand He knows
64:4:8tusirrūnᵃyou conceal
64:4:9wamāand what
64:4:10tuʕlinūnᵃyou declare.
64:4:11waₐllahᵘAnd Allah
64:4:12ʕalīmᵘⁿᵐ(is) All-Knowing
64:4:13biðātⁱof what
64:4:14ₐlṣṣudūrⁱ(is in) the breasts.

He knows what is within the heavens and earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare. And Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts.
64:5:1ʾalamHas not
64:5:2yaʾtikumcome to you
64:5:3nabaʾu(the) news
64:5:4ₐllaðīnᵃ(of) those who
64:5:5kafarūdisbelieved
64:5:7qablᵘbefore?
64:5:8faðāqūSo they tasted
64:5:9wabālᵃ(the bad) consequence
64:5:10ʾamrihim(of) their affair,
64:5:11walahumand for them
64:5:12ʕaðābᵘⁿ(is) a punishment
64:5:13ʾalīmᵘⁿpainful.
۝٥
Has there not come to you the news of those who disbelieved before? So they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment.
64:6:1ðālikᵃThat
64:6:2biʾannahu(is) because
64:6:4ttaʾtīhimcome to them
64:6:5rusuluhumtheir Messengers
64:6:6biₐlbayyinātⁱwith clear proofs,
64:6:7faqālūbut they said,
64:6:8ʾabašarᵘⁿ"Shall human beings
64:6:9yahdūnanāguide us?"
64:6:10fakafarūSo they disbelieved
64:6:11watawallawand turned away.
64:6:12wwaᵢstaġnāAnd can do without them
64:6:13ₐllahᵘAllah.
64:6:14waₐllahᵘAnd Allah
64:6:15ġanīīᵘⁿ(is) Self-sufficient,
64:6:16ḥamīdᵘⁿPraiseworthy.
۝٦
That is because their messengers used to come to them with clear evidences, but they said, "Shall human beings guide us?" and disbelieved and turned away. And Allah dispensed [with them]; and Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy.
64:7:1zaʕamᵃClaim
64:7:2ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
64:7:4ʾanthat
64:7:6yubʕaθūwill they be raised.
64:7:9warabbīby my Lord,
64:7:10latubʕaθunnᵃsurely you will be raised;
64:7:11θummᵃthen
64:7:12latunabbaʾunnᵃsurely you will be informed
64:7:13bimāof what
64:7:15waðālikᵃAnd that
64:7:17ₐllahⁱAllah
64:7:18yasīrᵘⁿ(is) easy."
۝٧
Those who disbelieve have claimed that they will never be resurrected. Say, "Yes, by my Lord, you will surely be resurrected; then you will surely be informed of what you did. And that, for Allah, is easy."
64:8:2biₐllahⁱin Allah
64:8:3warasūlihiand His Messenger
64:8:4waₐlnnūrⁱand the Light
64:8:5ₐllaðīwhich
64:8:6ʾanzalnāWe have sent down.
64:8:7waₐllahᵘAnd Allah,
64:8:8bimāof what
64:8:9taʕmalūnᵃyou do,
64:8:10ḫabīrᵘⁿ(is) All-Aware.
۝٨
So believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Qur'an which We have sent down. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.
64:9:1yawmᵃ(The) Day
64:9:2yajmaʕukumHe will assemble you
64:9:3liyawmⁱfor (the) Day
64:9:4ₐljamʕⁱ(of) the Assembly,
64:9:5ðālikᵃthat
64:9:6yawmᵘ(will be the) Day
64:9:7ₐlttaġābunⁱ(of) mutual loss and gain.
64:9:8wamanAnd whoever
64:9:9yuʾminᵐbelieves
64:9:10biₐllahⁱin Allah
64:9:12ṣāliḥaⁿrighteous deeds
64:9:13yukaffirHe will remove
64:9:14ʕanhᵘfrom him
64:9:15sayyiʾātihihis evil deeds
64:9:16wayudḫilhᵘand He will admit him
64:9:17jannātⁱⁿ(to) Gardens
64:9:20taḥtihāunderneath it
64:9:21ₐlʾanhārᵘthe rivers,
64:9:22ḫālidīnᵃabiding
64:9:24ʾabadaⁿforever.
64:9:25ðālikᵃThat
64:9:26ₐlfawzᵘ(is) the success
64:9:27ₐlʕaẓīmᵘthe great.
۝٩
The Day He will assemble you for the Day of Assembly - that is the Day of Deprivation. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteousness - He will remove from him his misdeeds and admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment.
64:10:1waₐllaðīnᵃBut those who
64:10:2kafarūdisbelieved
64:10:3wakaððabūand denied
64:10:4biʾāyātinā[in] Our Verses,
64:10:6ʾaṣḥābᵘ(are the) companions
64:10:7ₐlnnārⁱ(of) the Fire,
64:10:8ḫālidīnᵃabiding forever
64:10:9fīhātherein.
64:10:10wabiʾsᵃAnd wretched is
64:10:11ₐlmaṣīrᵘthe destination.
۝١٠
But the ones who disbelieved and denied Our verses - those are the companions of the Fire, abiding eternally therein; and wretched is the destination.
64:11:2ʾaṣābᵃstrikes
64:11:4mmuṣībaẗⁱⁿdisaster
64:11:5ʾillāexcept
64:11:6biʾiðnⁱby (the) permission
64:11:7ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah.
64:11:8wamanAnd whoever
64:11:9yuʾminᵐbelieves
64:11:10biₐllahⁱin Allah,
64:11:11yahdⁱHe guides
64:11:13waₐllahᵘAnd Allah
64:11:14bikullⁱof every
64:11:15šayʾⁱⁿthing
64:11:16ʕalīmᵘⁿ(is) All-Knowing.
۝١١
No disaster strikes except by permission of Allah. And whoever believes in Allah - He will guide his heart. And Allah is Knowing of all things.
64:12:1waʾaṭīʕūSo obey
64:12:2ₐllahᵃAllah
64:12:3waʾaṭīʕūand obey
64:12:4ₐlrrasūlᵃthe Messenger;
64:12:5faʾinbut if
64:12:6tawallaytumyou turn away,
64:12:7faʾinnamāthen only
64:12:9rasūlināOur Messenger
64:12:10ₐlbalāġᵘ(is) the conveyance
64:12:11ₐlmubīnᵘclear.
۝١٢
And obey Allah and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away - then upon Our Messenger is only [the duty of] clear notification.
64:13:1ₐllahᵘAllah,
64:13:2(there is) no
64:13:4ʾillāexcept
64:13:5huwᵃHim.
64:13:6waʕalāAnd upon
64:13:7ₐllahⁱAllah
64:13:8falyatawakkalⁱlet put (their) trust
64:13:9ₐlmuʾminūnᵃthe believers.
۝١٣
Allah - there is no deity except Him. And upon Allah let the believers rely.
64:14:2ₐllaðīnᵃ(you) who
64:14:4ʾinnᵃIndeed,
64:14:6ʾazwājikumyour spouses
64:14:7waʾawlādikumand your children
64:14:8ʕaduwwaⁿ(are) enemies
64:14:10faᵢḥðarūhumso beware of them.
64:14:11waʾinBut if
64:14:13wataṣfaḥūand overlook
64:14:14wataġfirūand forgive,
64:14:15faʾinnᵃthen indeed,
64:14:16ₐllahᵃAllah
64:14:17ġafūrᵘⁿ(is) Oft-Forgiving,
64:14:18rraḥīmᵘⁿMost Merciful.
۝١٤
O you who have believed, indeed, among your wives and your children are enemies to you, so beware of them. But if you pardon and overlook and forgive - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
64:15:2ʾamwālukumyour wealth
64:15:3waʾawlādukumand your children
64:15:4fitnaẗᵘⁿ(are) a trial,
64:15:5waₐllahᵘand Allah -
64:15:7ʾajrᵘⁿ(is) a reward
64:15:8ʕaẓīmᵘⁿgreat.
۝١٥
Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and Allah has with Him a great reward.
64:16:2ₐllahᵃAllah
64:16:4ᵢstaṭaʕtumyou are able
64:16:5waᵢsmaʕūand listen
64:16:6waʾaṭīʕūand obey
64:16:7waʾanfiqūand spend;
64:16:8ḫayraⁿ(it is) better
64:16:9lliʾanfusikumfor yourselves.
64:16:10wamanAnd whoever
64:16:11yūqᵃis saved
64:16:12šuḥḥᵃ(from the) greediness
64:16:13nafsihi(of) his soul,
64:16:14faʾulāʾikᵃthen those
64:16:15humᵘ[they]
64:16:16ₐlmufliḥūnᵃ(are) the successful ones.
۝١٦
So fear Allah as much as you are able and listen and obey and spend [in the way of Allah]; it is better for your selves. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful.
64:17:3ₐllahᵃ(to) Allah
64:17:4qarḍaⁿa loan
64:17:5ḥasanaⁿgoodly,
64:17:6yuḍāʕifhᵘHe will multiply it
64:17:8wayaġfirand will forgive
64:17:10waₐllahᵘAnd Allah
64:17:11šakūrᵘⁿ(is) Most Appreciative,
64:17:12ḥalīmᵘⁿMost Forbearing,
۝١٧
If you loan Allah a goodly loan, He will multiply it for you and forgive you. And Allah is Most Appreciative and Forbearing.
64:18:1ʕālimᵘ(The) Knower
64:18:2ₐlġaybⁱ(of) the unseen
64:18:3waₐlššahādaẗⁱand the witnessed,
64:18:4ₐlʕazīzᵘthe All-Mighty,
64:18:5ₐlḥakīmᵘthe All-Wise.

Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
