16:30:1waqīlᵃAnd it will be said
16:30:2lillaðīnᵃto those who
16:30:3ᵢttaqawfear Allah,
16:30:5ʾanzalᵃhas your Lord sent down?"
16:30:7qālūThey will say,
16:30:8ḫayraⁿ"Good."
16:30:9llillaðīnᵃFor those who

16:30:20ₐlmuttaqīnᵃ(of) the righteous.
۝٣٠
And it will be said to those who feared Allah, "What did your Lord send down?" They will say, "[That which is] good." For those who do good in this world is good; and the home of the Hereafter is better. And how excellent is the home of the righteous -
16:31:1jannātᵘGardens
16:31:2ʕadnⁱⁿ(of) Eden -

16:32:1ₐllaðīnᵃThose whom

The ones whom the angels take in death, [being] good and pure; [the angels] will say, "Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise for what you used to do."
16:33:2yanẓurūnᵃthey wait

16:33:16wamāAnd not
16:33:17ẓalamahumᵘwronged them
16:33:18ₐllahᵘAllah

۝٣٣
Do the disbelievers await [anything] except that the angels should come to them or there comes the command of your Lord? Thus did those do before them. And Allah wronged them not, but they had been wronging themselves.
16:34:1faʾaṣābahumThen struck them
16:34:2sayyiʾātᵘ(the) evil (results)

16:35:24ₐllaðīnᵃthose who

۝٣٥
And those who associate others with Allah say, "If Allah had willed, we would not have worshipped anything other than Him, neither we nor our fathers, nor would we have forbidden anything through other than Him." Thus did those do before them. So is there upon the messengers except [the duty of] clear notification?
16:36:1walaqadAnd certainly,
16:36:2baʕaθnāWe sent
16:36:4kullⁱevery

16:36:12faminhumThen among them
16:36:13mman(were some) whom
16:36:14hadāAllah guided,

۝٣٦
And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], "Worship Allah and avoid Taghut." And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was [deservedly] decreed. So proceed through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers.
16:37:2taḥriṣyou desire
16:37:4hudāhumtheir guidance,
16:37:5faʾinnᵃthen indeed,
16:37:6ₐllahᵃAllah

۝٣٧
[Even] if you should strive for their guidance, [O Muhammad], indeed, Allah does not guide those He sends astray, and they will have no helpers.
16:38:1waʾaqsamūAnd they swear

16:38:5Allah will not resurrect

16:38:11waʕdaⁿ(it is) a promise

16:38:16ₐlnnāsⁱ(of) the mankind
16:38:17(do) not
۝٣٨
And they swear by Allah their strongest oaths [that] Allah will not resurrect one who dies. But yes - [it is] a true promise [binding] upon Him, but most of the people do not know.
16:39:1liyubayyinᵃThat He will make clear
16:39:2lahumᵘto them
16:39:3ₐllaðīthat
16:39:4yaḫtalifūnᵃthey differ
16:39:5fīhⁱwherein,
16:39:6waliyaʕlamᵃand that may know
16:39:7ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
16:39:8kafarūdisbelieved
16:39:9ʾannahumthat they
16:39:11kāðibīnᵃliars.
۝٣٩
[It is] so He will make clear to them [the truth of] that wherein they differ and so those who have disbelieved may know that they were liars.
16:40:3lišayʾⁱⁿto a thing
16:40:5ʾaradnāhᵘWe intend it
16:40:6ʾan(is) that
16:40:7nnaqūlᵃWe say

۝٤٠
Indeed, Our word to a thing when We intend it is but that We say to it, "Be," and it is.
16:41:1waₐllaðīnᵃAnd those who

16:41:5minᵐafter
16:41:7[what]

16:41:9lanubawwiʾannahumsurely We will give them position
16:41:11ₐlddunyāthe world
16:41:12ḥasanaẗᵃⁿgood,
16:41:13walaʾajrᵘbut surely the reward
16:41:14ₐlʾāḫiraẗⁱ(of) the Hereafter
16:41:15ʾakbarᵘ(is) greater,
۝٤١
And those who emigrated for [the cause of] Allah after they had been wronged - We will surely settle them in this world in a good place; but the reward of the Hereafter is greater, if only they could know.
16:42:1ₐllaðīnᵃThose who
16:42:2ṣabarū(are) patient
16:42:4rabbihimtheir Lord
16:42:5yatawakkalūnᵃthey put their trust.
۝٤٢
[They are] those who endured patiently and upon their Lord relied.
16:43:3minbefore you
16:43:5ʾillāexcept
16:43:7nnūḥīWe revealed
16:43:10ʾahlᵃ(the) people
16:43:11ₐlððikrⁱ(of) the Reminder
16:43:14(do) not
۝٤٣
And We sent not before you except men to whom We revealed [Our message]. So ask the people of the message if you do not know.
16:44:1biₐlbayyinātⁱWith the clear proofs
16:44:2waₐlzzuburⁱand the Books.
16:44:3waʾanzalnāAnd We sent down
16:44:4ʾilaykᵃto you
16:44:5ₐlððikrᵃthe Remembrance,
16:44:6litubayyinᵃthat you may make clear
16:44:7lilnnāsⁱto the mankind,
16:44:9nuzzilᵃhas been sent down
16:44:11walaʕallahumand that they may
16:44:12yatafakkarūnᵃreflect.
۝٤٤
[We sent them] with clear proofs and written ordinances. And We revealed to you the message that you may make clear to the people what was sent down to them and that they might give thought.
16:45:1ʾafaʾaminᵃDo then feel secure
16:45:2ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
16:45:4ₐlssayyiʾātⁱthe evil deeds
16:45:6yaḫsifᵃAllah will cave
16:45:8bihimᵘwith them
16:45:9ₐlʾarḍᵃthe earth
16:45:11yaʾtiyahumᵘwill come to them
16:45:12ₐlʕaðābᵘthe punishment
16:45:14ḥayθᵘwhere
16:45:16yašʕurūnᵃthey perceive?
۝٤٥
Then, do those who have planned evil deeds feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them or that the punishment will not come upon them from where they do not perceive?
16:46:2yaʾḫuðahumthat He may seize them
16:46:4taqallubihimtheir going to and fro
16:46:5famāthen not
16:46:7bimuʕjizīnᵃwill be able to escape?
۝٤٦
Or that He would not seize them during their [usual] activity, and they could not cause failure?
16:47:2yaʾḫuðahumthat He may seize them
16:47:4taḫawwufⁱⁿa gradual wasting
16:47:5faʾinnᵃBut indeed,
16:47:6rabbakumyour Lord
16:47:7laraʾūfᵘⁿ(is) surely Full of Kindness,
16:47:8rraḥīmᵘⁿMost Merciful.
۝٤٧
Or that He would not seize them gradually [in a state of dread]? But indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful.
16:48:1ʾawalamHave not
16:48:3ʾilā[towards]
16:48:5ḫalaqᵃAllah has created

They fear their Lord above them, and they do what they are commanded.
