۞
22:19:1hāðānⁱThese two
22:19:2ḫaṣmānⁱopponents
22:19:3ᵢḫtaṣamūdispute
22:19:4concerning
22:19:5rabbihimtheir Lord.
22:19:6faₐllaðīnᵃBut those who
22:19:7kafarūdisbelieved
22:19:8quṭṭiʕatwill be cut out
22:19:9lahumfor them
22:19:10θiyābᵘⁿgarments
22:19:12nnārⁱⁿfire.
22:19:13yuṣabbᵘWill be poured
22:19:16ruʾūsihimᵘtheir heads
22:19:17ₐlḥamīmᵘ[the] scalding water.
۝١٩
These are two adversaries who have disputed over their Lord. But those who disbelieved will have cut out for them garments of fire. Poured upon their heads will be scalding water
22:20:1yuṣharᵘWill be melted
22:20:4(is) in
22:20:5buṭūnihimtheir bellies
22:20:6waₐljulūdᵘand the skins.
۝٢٠
By which is melted that within their bellies and [their] skins.
22:21:1walahumAnd for them
22:21:2mmaqāmiʕᵘ(are) hooked rods
22:21:4ḥadīdⁱⁿiron.
۝٢١
And for [striking] them are maces of iron.
22:22:1kullamāEvery time
22:22:7ġammⁱⁿanguish,
22:22:8ʾuʕīdūthey will be returned
22:22:9fīhātherein,
22:22:11ʕaðābᵃ(the) punishment
22:22:12ₐlḥarīqⁱ(of) the Burning Fire!"
۝٢٢
Every time they want to get out of Hellfire from anguish, they will be returned to it, and [it will be said], "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire!"
22:23:1ʾinnᵃIndeed,
22:23:2ₐllahᵃAllah
22:23:3yudḫilᵘwill admit
22:23:4ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
22:23:7ₐlṣṣāliḥātⁱthe righteous deeds,
22:23:8jannātⁱⁿ(to) Gardens
22:23:11taḥtihāunderneath it
22:23:12ₐlʾanhārᵘthe rivers.
22:23:13yuḥallawnᵃThey will be adorned
22:23:16ʾasāwirᵃbracelets
22:23:18ðahabⁱⁿgold
22:23:19waluʾluʾaⁿand pearl,
22:23:20walibāsuhumand their garments
22:23:22ḥarīrᵘⁿ(will be of) silk.
۝٢٣
Indeed, Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearl, and their garments therein will be silk.
22:24:1wahudūAnd they were guided
22:24:3ₐlṭṭayyibⁱthe good
22:24:5ₐlqawlⁱthe speech,
22:24:6wahudūand they were guided
22:24:8ṣirāṭⁱ(the) path
22:24:9ₐlḥamīdⁱ(of) the Praiseworthy.
۝٢٤
And they had been guided [in worldly life] to good speech, and they were guided to the path of the Praiseworthy.
22:25:1ʾinnᵃIndeed,
22:25:2ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
22:25:3kafarūdisbelieved
22:25:4wayaṣuddūnᵃand hinder
22:25:6sabīlⁱ(the) way
22:25:7ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah
22:25:8waₐlmasjidⁱand Al-Masjid Al-Haraam,
22:25:10ₐllaðīwhich
22:25:11jaʕalnāhᵘWe made it
22:25:12lilnnāsⁱfor the mankind,
22:25:13sawāʾᵃⁿequal,
22:25:14ₐlʕākifᵘ(are) the resident
22:25:15fīhⁱtherein
22:25:16waₐlbādⁱand the visitor;
22:25:17wamanand whoever
22:25:19fīhⁱtherein
22:25:20biʾilḥādⁱⁿof deviation
22:25:21biẓulmⁱⁿ(or) wrongdoing,
22:25:22nnuðiqhᵘWe will make him taste
22:25:24ʕaðābⁱⁿa punishment
22:25:25ʾalīmⁱⁿpainful.
۝٢٥
Indeed, those who have disbelieved and avert [people] from the way of Allah and [from] al-Masjid al-Haram, which We made for the people - equal are the resident therein and one from outside; and [also] whoever intends [a deed] therein of deviation [in religion] or wrongdoing - We will make him taste of a painful punishment.
22:26:1waʾiðAnd when
22:26:2bawwaʾnāWe assigned
22:26:3liʾibrāhīmᵃto Ibrahim
22:26:4makānᵃ(the) site
22:26:5ₐlbaytⁱ(of) the House,
22:26:6ʾan"That
22:26:7llā(do) not
22:26:8tušrikassociate
22:26:9with Me
22:26:10šayʾaⁿanything
22:26:11waṭahhirand purify
22:26:12baytīᵃMy House
22:26:13lilṭṭāʾifīnᵃfor those who circumambulate
22:26:14waₐlqāʾimīnᵃand those who stand
22:26:15waₐlrrukkaʕⁱand those who bow,
22:26:16ₐlssujūdⁱ(and) those who prostrate.
۝٢٦
And [mention, O Muhammad], when We designated for Abraham the site of the House, [saying], "Do not associate anything with Me and purify My House for those who perform Tawaf and those who stand [in prayer] and those who bow and prostrate.
22:27:1waʾaððinAnd proclaim
22:27:3ₐlnnāsⁱ[the] mankind
22:27:4biₐlḥajjⁱ[of] the Pilgrimage;
22:27:5yaʾtūkᵃthey will come to you
22:27:6rijālaⁿ(on) foot
22:27:8kullⁱevery
22:27:9ḍāmirⁱⁿlean camel;
22:27:10yaʾtīnᵃthey will come
22:27:12kullⁱevery
22:27:13fajjⁱⁿmountain highway
22:27:14ʕamīqⁱⁿdistant.
۝٢٧
And proclaim to the people the Hajj [pilgrimage]; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every distant pass -
22:28:1lliyašhadūThat they may witness
22:28:2manāfiʕᵃbenefits
22:28:3lahumfor them,
22:28:4wayaðkurūand mention
22:28:5ᵢsmᵃ(the) name
22:28:6ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah
22:28:8ʾayyāmⁱⁿdays
22:28:9mmaʕlūmātⁱⁿknown
22:28:12razaqahumHe has provided them
22:28:14bahīmaẗⁱ(the) beast
22:28:15ₐlʾanʕāmⁱ(of) cattle.
22:28:19ₐlbāʾisᵃthe miserable,
22:28:20ₐlfaqīrᵃthe poor.
۝٢٨
That they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah on known days over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. So eat of them and feed the miserable and poor.
22:29:1θummᵃThen
22:29:2lyaqḍūlet them end
22:29:3tafaθahumtheir prescribed duties
22:29:5nuðūrahumtheir vows,
22:29:6walyaṭṭawwafūand circumambulate
22:29:7biₐlbaytⁱthe House
22:29:8ₐlʕatīqⁱ[the] Ancient."
۝٢٩
Then let them end their untidiness and fulfill their vows and perform Tawaf around the ancient House."
22:30:1ðālikᵃThat
22:30:2wamanand whoever
22:30:3yuʕaẓẓimhonors
22:30:4ḥurumātⁱ(the) sacred rites
22:30:5ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah,
22:30:6fahuwᵃthen it
22:30:7ḫayrᵘⁿ(is) best
22:30:9ʕindᵃnear
22:30:10rabbihihis Lord.
22:30:11waʾuḥillatAnd are made lawful
22:30:12lakumᵘto you
22:30:13ₐlʾanʕāmᵘthe cattle
22:30:16yutlāis recited
22:30:19ₐlrrijsᵃthe abomination
22:30:21ₐlʾawθānⁱthe idols
22:30:23qawlᵃ(the) word
22:30:24ₐlzzūrⁱfalse.
۝٣٠
That [has been commanded], and whoever honors the sacred ordinances of Allah - it is best for him in the sight of his Lord. And permitted to you are the grazing livestock, except what is recited to you. So avoid the uncleanliness of idols and avoid false statement,
22:31:1ḥunafāʾᵃBeing upright
22:31:2lillahⁱto Allah,
22:31:4mušrikīnᵃassociating partners
22:31:5bihiwith Him.
22:31:6wamanAnd whoever
22:31:7yušrikassociates partners
22:31:8biₐllahⁱwith Allah
22:31:9fakaʾannamāthen (it is) as though
22:31:10ḫarrᵃhe had fallen
22:31:12ₐlssamāʾⁱthe sky
22:31:13fataḫṭafuhᵘand (had) snatched him
22:31:14ₐlṭṭayrᵘthe birds,
22:31:16tahwīhad blown
22:31:18ₐlrrīḥᵘthe wind
22:31:20makānⁱⁿa place
22:31:21saḥīqⁱⁿfar off.
۝٣١
Inclining [only] to Allah, not associating [anything] with Him. And he who associates with Allah - it is as though he had fallen from the sky and was snatched by the birds or the wind carried him down into a remote place.
22:32:1ðālikᵃThat,
22:32:2wamanand whoever
22:32:3yuʕaẓẓimhonors
22:32:4šaʕāʾirᵃ(the) Symbols
22:32:5ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah
22:32:6faʾinnahāthen indeed, it
22:32:7min(is) from
22:32:8taqwā(the) piety
22:32:9ₐlqulūbⁱ(of) the hearts.
۝٣٢
That [is so]. And whoever honors the symbols of Allah - indeed, it is from the piety of hearts.
22:33:2fīhātherein
22:33:3manāfiʕᵘ(are) benefits
22:33:5ʾajalⁱⁿa term
22:33:6mmusammaⁿappointed;
22:33:7θummᵃthen
22:33:8maḥilluhātheir place of sacrifice
22:33:9ʾilā(is) at
22:33:10ₐlbaytⁱthe House
22:33:11ₐlʕatīqⁱthe Ancient.
۝٣٣
For you the animals marked for sacrifice are benefits for a specified term; then their place of sacrifice is at the ancient House.
22:34:1walikullⁱAnd for every
22:34:2ʾummaẗⁱⁿnation
22:34:3jaʕalnāWe have appointed
22:34:4mansakaⁿa rite,
22:34:5lliyaðkurūthat they may mention
22:34:6ᵢsmᵃ(the) name
22:34:7ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah
22:34:10razaqahumHe (has) provided them
22:34:12bahīmaẗⁱ(the) beast
22:34:13ₐlʾanʕāmⁱ(of) cattle.
22:34:14faʾilāhukumAnd your God
22:34:15ʾilāhᵘⁿ(is) God
22:34:16wāḥidᵘⁿOne,
22:34:19wabašširⁱAnd give glad tidings
22:34:20ₐlmuḫbitīnᵃ(to) the humble ones.
۝٣٤
And for all religion We have appointed a rite [of sacrifice] that they may mention the name of Allah over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. For your god is one God, so to Him submit. And, [O Muhammad], give good tidings to the humble [before their Lord]
22:35:1ₐllaðīnᵃThose
22:35:3ðukirᵃis mentioned
22:35:4ₐllahᵘAllah -
22:35:6qulūbuhumtheir hearts,
22:35:7waₐlṣṣābirīnᵃand those who are patient
22:35:9whatever
22:35:10ʾaṣābahumhas afflicted them,
22:35:11waₐlmuqīmīand those who establish
22:35:12ₐlṣṣalawẗⁱthe prayer,
22:35:13wamimmāand out of what
22:35:14razaqnāhumWe have provided them
22:35:15yunfiqūnᵃthey spend.
۝٣٥
Who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts are fearful, and [to] the patient over what has afflicted them, and the establishers of prayer and those who spend from what We have provided them.
22:36:1waₐlbudnᵃAnd the camels and cattle -
22:36:2jaʕalnāhāWe have made them
22:36:3lakumfor you
22:36:5šaʕāʾirⁱ(the) Symbols
22:36:6ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah,
22:36:8fīhātherein
22:36:9ḫayrᵘⁿ(is) good.
22:36:10faᵤðkurūSo mention
22:36:11ᵢsmᵃ(the) name
22:36:12ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah
22:36:13ʕalayhāover them
22:36:14ṣawāffᵃ(when) lined up;
22:36:15faʾiðāand when
22:36:17junūbuhātheir sides,
22:36:19minhāfrom them
22:36:21ₐlqāniʕᵃthe needy who do not ask
22:36:22waₐlmuʕtarrᵃand the needy who ask.
22:36:24saḫḫarnāhāWe have subjected them
22:36:26laʕallakumso that you may
22:36:27taškurūnᵃbe grateful.
۝٣٦
And the camels and cattle We have appointed for you as among the symbols of Allah; for you therein is good. So mention the name of Allah upon them when lined up [for sacrifice]; and when they are [lifeless] on their sides, then eat from them and feed the needy and the beggar. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may be grateful.
22:37:1lanWill not

22:37:3ₐllahᵃAllah
22:37:4luḥūmuhātheir meat
22:37:5walāand not
22:37:6dimāʾuhātheir blood
22:37:8yanāluhᵘreaches Him
22:37:9ₐlttaqwāthe piety
22:37:10minkumfrom you.
22:37:12saḫḫarahāHe subjected them
22:37:14litukabbirūso that you may magnify
22:37:15ₐllahᵃAllah
22:37:18hadākumHe has guided you.
22:37:19wabašširⁱAnd give glad tidings
22:37:20ₐlmuḥsinīnᵃ(to) the good-doers.
۝٣٧
Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and give good tidings to the doers of good.
