۝١١
Say, "The angel of death will take you who has been entrusted with you. Then to your Lord you will be returned."
32:12:2tarāyou (could) see
32:12:3ʾiðⁱwhen
32:12:4ₐlmujrimūnᵃthe criminals

32:12:15ʾinnāIndeed, we

۝١٢
If you could but see when the criminals are hanging their heads before their Lord, [saying], "Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so return us [to the world]; we will work righteousness. Indeed, we are [now] certain."
32:13:2šiʾnāWe (had) willed,
32:13:3laʾātaynāsurely We (would) have given

۝١٣
And if We had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me will come into effect [that] "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together.
32:14:2bimābecause
32:14:3nasītumyou forgot
32:14:4liqāʾᵃ(the) meeting,

32:14:7ʾinnāIndeed, We

So taste [punishment] because you forgot the meeting of this, your Day; indeed, We have [accordingly] forgotten you. And taste the punishment of eternity for what you used to do."
32:15:2yuʾminᵘbelieve
32:15:3biʾāyātināin Our Verses
32:15:4ₐllaðīnᵃthose who

32:15:12rabbihim(of) their Lord,
32:15:14are not arrogant.
۝١٥
Only those believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded by them, fall down in prostration and exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant.
32:16:2junūbuhumtheir sides
32:16:3ʕanⁱfrom
32:16:4ₐlmaḍājiʕⁱ(their) beds;
32:16:5yadʕūnᵃthey call
32:16:6rabbahumtheir Lord

32:16:9wamimmāand out of what
32:16:10razaqnāhumWe have provided them

۝١٦
They arise from [their] beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and aspiration, and from what We have provided them, they spend.
32:17:1falāAnd not
32:17:3nafsᵘⁿa soul
32:17:5ʾuḫfīᵃis hidden
32:17:6lahumfor them
32:17:8qurraẗⁱ(the) comfort

32:17:10jazāʾᵃⁿᵐ(as) a reward
32:17:11bimāfor what
32:17:12kānūthey used (to)
۝١٧
And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes as reward for what they used to do.
32:18:1ʾafamanThen is one who
32:18:3muʾminaⁿa believer
32:18:4kamanlike (him) who
32:18:6fāsiqaⁿdefiantly disobedient?
32:18:8yastawunᵃthey are equal.
۝١٨
Then is one who was a believer like one who was defiantly disobedient? They are not equal.
32:19:1ʾammāAs for
32:19:2ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
32:19:5ₐlṣṣāliḥātⁱrighteous deeds,
32:19:6falahumthen for them
32:19:7jannātᵘ(are) Gardens

32:19:10bimāfor what

۝١٩
As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, for them will be the Gardens of Refuge as accommodation for what they used to do.
32:20:1waʾammāBut as for
32:20:2ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
32:20:3fasaqūare defiantly disobedient
32:20:4famaʾwāhumᵘthen their refuge
32:20:5ₐlnnārᵘ(is) the Fire.
32:20:6kullamāEvery time
32:20:11ʾuʕīdūthey (will) be returned
32:20:13waqīlᵃand it (will) be said

32:20:17ₐlnnārⁱ(of) the Fire
32:20:18ₐllaðīwhich
32:20:19kuntumyou used (to)
32:20:21tukaððibūnᵃdeny."
۝٢٠
But as for those who defiantly disobeyed, their refuge is the Fire. Every time they wish to emerge from it, they will be returned to it while it is said to them, "Taste the punishment of the Fire which you used to deny."
32:21:1walanuðīqannahumAnd surely, We will let them taste
32:21:3ₐlʕaðābⁱthe punishment
32:21:4ₐlʾadnāthe nearer
32:21:5dūnᵃbefore
32:21:6ₐlʕaðābⁱthe punishment
32:21:7ₐlʾakbarⁱthe greater,
32:21:8laʕallahumso that they may
32:21:9yarjiʕūnᵃreturn.
۝٢١
And we will surely let them taste the nearer punishment short of the greater punishment that perhaps they will repent.
32:22:2ʾaẓlamᵘ(is) more unjust
32:22:3mimmanthan (he) who
32:22:4ðukkirᵃis reminded
32:22:5biʾāyātⁱof (the) Verses
32:22:6rabbihi(of) his Lord,
32:22:7θummᵃthen
32:22:8ʾaʕraḍᵃhe turns away
32:22:9ʕanhāfrom them?
32:22:10ʾinnāIndeed, We
32:22:12ₐlmujrimīnᵃthe criminals,
32:22:13muntaqimūnᵃ(will) take retribution.
۝٢٢
And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord; then he turns away from them? Indeed We, from the criminals, will take retribution.
32:23:1walaqadAnd certainly
32:23:4ₐlkitābᵃthe Scripture,
32:23:5falāso (do) not
32:23:8miryaẗⁱⁿdoubt
32:23:10lliqāʾihireceiving it.
32:23:11wajaʕalnāhᵘAnd We made it
32:23:12hudaⁿa guide
32:23:13llibanīfor the Children of Israel.
۝٢٣
And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture, so do not be in doubt over his meeting. And we made the Torah guidance for the Children of Israel.
32:24:1wajaʕalnāAnd We made
32:24:3ʾaʾimmaẗᵃⁿleaders
32:24:4yahdūnᵃguiding
32:24:5biʾamrināby Our Command
32:24:7ṣabarūthey were patient
32:24:8wakānūand they were
32:24:9biʾāyātināof Our Verses
32:24:10yūqinūnᵃcertain.
۝٢٤
And We made from among them leaders guiding by Our command when they were patient and [when] they were certain of Our signs.
32:25:1ʾinnᵃIndeed,
32:25:2rabbakᵃyour Lord
32:25:3huwᵃ[He]
32:25:4yafṣilᵘwill judge
32:25:5baynahumbetween them
32:25:6yawmᵃ(on the) Day
32:25:7ₐlqiyāmaẗⁱ(of) Resurrection
32:25:8fīmāin what
32:25:9kānūthey used (to)
32:25:10fīhⁱ[in it]
32:25:11yaḫtalifūnᵃdiffer.
۝٢٥
Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.
32:26:1ʾawalamDoes it not
32:26:3lahum[for] them,
32:26:4kam(that) how many
32:26:5ʾahlaknāWe have destroyed
32:26:6minbefore them
32:26:9ₐlqurūnⁱthe generations,
32:26:10yamšūnᵃthey walk about
32:26:12masākinihimtheir dwellings.
32:26:13ʾinnᵃIndeed,
32:26:16laʾāyātⁱⁿsurely, are Signs.
32:26:17ʾafalāThen do not
32:26:18yasmaʕūnᵃthey hear?
۝٢٦
Has it not become clear to them how many generations We destroyed before them, [as] they walk among their dwellings? Indeed in that are signs; then do they not hear?
32:27:3ʾannāthat We
32:27:4nasūqᵘdrive
32:27:5ₐlmāʾᵃwater
32:27:7ₐlʾarḍⁱthe land
32:27:8ₐljuruzⁱ[the] barren,
32:27:9fanuḫrijᵘthen We bring forth
32:27:11zarʕaⁿcrops,
32:27:13minhᵘfrom it
32:27:14ʾanʕāmuhumtheir cattle
32:27:15waʾanfusuhumand they themselves?
32:27:16ʾafalāThen do not
32:27:17yubṣirūnᵃthey see?
۝٢٧
Have they not seen that We drive the water [in clouds] to barren land and bring forth thereby crops from which their livestock eat and [they] themselves? Then do they not see?
32:28:1wayaqūlūnᵃAnd they say,
32:28:2matā"When (will be)
32:28:4ₐlfatḥᵘdecision,
32:28:7ṣādiqīnᵃtruthful?"
۝٢٨
And they say, "When will be this conquest, if you should be truthful?"
32:29:2yawmᵃ"(On the) Day
32:29:3ₐlfatḥⁱ(of) the Decision,
32:29:5yanfaʕᵘwill benefit
32:29:6ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
32:29:8ʾīmānuhumtheir belief
32:29:9walāand not
32:29:11yunẓarūnᵃwill be granted respite."
۝٢٩
Say, [O Muhammad], "On the Day of Conquest the belief of those who had disbelieved will not benefit them, nor will they be reprieved."
32:30:1faʾaʕriḍSo turn away
32:30:2ʕanhumfrom them
32:30:3waᵢntaẓirand wait.
32:30:4ʾinnahumIndeed, they
32:30:5mmuntaẓirūnᵃ(are) waiting.
۝٣٠
So turn away from them and wait. Indeed, they are waiting.
